Am I wrong?..What happens when Miz loses the belt (cause he's done it 5 times)?..Nothing..The guy hasn't held the WHC in over 6 years and his 1st IC title reign came almost 2 yrs after he lost the big belt..And he's jobbed to Dolphin 3 times for the IC title..Think about that for a minute..They chose Dolph to beat Jiz for the IC title 3 times..Now if that don't tell you how insignificant Mikey is then I don't know what does..

What wrestler would you like to see return to the WWE that has:
-Previously been on the main roster
-Was pushed during their prior run with the WWE
-Has gone elsewhere and improved their craft (significantly) so as to deserve another chance
-Has to be a realistic possibility
-You may NOT answer Kurt Angle!
Must meet above criteria.
Also, if you feel so inclined, say how you see them fitting in this next time as well.

You often lack objectivity and context in your old man rants Stinker. And this is coming from a guy who personally can't stand Real World Mike. But there's a glass ceiling in this era of the WWE. In addition to the fact that there is no longer a linear progression in syorytelling.
Bret and Shawn lucked out and were able to be elevated because Hogan left the company. If Hogan never leaves Stamford and that steroid trial never explodes, everyone would be looking at Shawn & Bret as guys who Vince never trusted to be anything bigger than midcard guys.
Then Austin & Rock lucked out because Shawn got injured and Bret was forced out of the company. All of these guys had reigns at the top that lasted at most 5 years.
The problem with this era is the fact that John Cena has been at the top for the last 10 years and the fact that the company is now publicly owned. No one is ever given a fair shake to get elevated.
You want to know why the Miz's run as champion failed, it was because it was used to set up The Rock and Cena feud. The WWE Champion was placed on the backburner. Until John Cena is gone and no longer a crutch for Vince, no one is truly going to get elevated.

But what about Edge, Orton, Batista, and Punk?..All them guys became extra successful while Cena was in his prime..And the reason they were successful is because the fans got behind them..Nobody is ever gonna get behind Miz enough to force Vincent Vega to push him..The fans hate him and it's not the good kind of hate that a heel wants..

Those guys were fortunate enough to be around during the brand split where there was a 2nd World Title to fight over. But whenever they were on the same brand as John Chena, it was always Never Give Up Super Chena Time
CM Punk should have been a way bigger star than what he ended up as but Vince prefered John Chena versus Johnny Laurenitis main events.
Helll look at our guy BK Fashion. He should be a made man right now but Chena had to go over. Pissed on his nearly year long reign just so Chena can become a transistional champion.

Completely agree with this statement. It's hard to be a heel these days. Miz completely does his job, just like Stupid looking Sheamus. I hated him and his stale matches, but he purposefully did those things to not be liked, therefore he did his job. It's a whole different ballgame to be a true heel in 2017.
