Suddenly I remembered that strap match between Shad and JTG...sponsored by KFC

The whole point of a strap match originally was that they used a short strap so the guys would be so close that a) they really beat the hell out of each other and b) it was difficult to get to all four corners.  When you have a 12 foot strap, you only need to drag your opponent like a foot out of the center of the ring to touch each corner.

I always thought it was ***-backwards (aka regular WWE) that they would split them up, with Shad being set for an initial push...then gave JTG the win, and never had a followup.
