They are advertising a possible match between The Miz and Rey Mysterio tonight.  However, Mysterio has some type of inner ear infection, so he will be unlikely to compete tonight.  So we'll either have a bait and switch, or a match that really isn't a match.

Nothing else has been announced for tonight other than Pee Wee Herman being the guest star.

And as everyone knows, tomorrow is the election.  Linda McMahon will either become a US Senator or Vince McMahon will completely lose his mind, and the ladder is almost a lock.  While we'll probably have political propaganda shoved in our face tonight, but next week (and Friday) should be much more entertaining to see how Vince reacts publicly to Linda not winning the election.  And as for Vince's plans of giving out free WWE merchandise to voters tomorrow.....
WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt recieved a letter from the U.S. Department of Justice today which reads:

"The Department of Justice has recently received information indicating that your client, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), might be providing or planning to provide free merchandise to voters at polling places.  However, the available information also indicates that, if this practice is actually planned or occurring, it is open and notorious.  Accordingly, this letter is to advise you that WWE might be operating in ignorance of applicable federeal criminal law, and to notify you of that law.

Specifically, Section 1973i (c) of Titale 42 of the United States Code makes it a federal offnse to pay or offer to pay an individual a thing of value for voting.  Violations of Section 1973i (c) is punishable by imprisonment up to five years and a fine not to exceed $250,000.  Please note the Department's understanding that this statute prohibits a person from providing a thing of value--such as clothing--in return for an individual's participation in the voting process.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Richard C. Pilger

This is going to be good.

WWE.com has a picture of HHH on the main page from the fan appreciation show.  He definitely looks smaller and funny without the beard.

See you guys tonight...

A few quick notes:

Vince Not Giving Out WWE Merchandise Tomorrow
Vince McMahon has decided against giving away any merchandise near polling places tomorrow.  McMahon said, "This is clearly heavy-anded bullying from big government and would appear to be desperate political activity in closely contested elections in Connecticut.  This is consistent with some Attorney Generals' tactics that threaten litigation for political gain."

Linda Getting A Little Closer
The Quinnipiac poll released today showed Linda McMahon cut Richard Blumenthal's big lead of last week, listing it at 53% to 44% (it was 54-42 last week).  The Rasmussen poll out today has it closer, at 53% to 46% moving it from listing it was a solid win for Blumenthal to leaning toward Blumenthal.

Sean "Val Venis" Morely Re-Signs with WWE and Is At Tonight's Show
People are expecting some sort of a political spoof character, and that kind of a role you wouldn't necessarily have confidence in a developmental guy for.  We haven't heard that from anyone internally, who only said that due to the rash of injuries, they probably felt they needed a veteran performer for the roster in the upcoming European tour which both crews are leaving for after this week's TVs.

CM Punk Update
C.M. Punk was given the medical opinion that he needs hip surgery and is expected to get it imminently.  If they don't address that in angle form tonight, than they likely won't be addressing it at all since next week's TV comes from Europe.  If he has the surgery (the word we were told that it is scheduled but not 100%) then his program with Daniel Bryan would be out.

Damn, having children was rough on Steph, huh?

She used to be attractive...esp when she managed Jericho.
