- WWE putting Ryback with Paul Heyman is seen as “feast or famine” and “one last chance” for Ryback to make it as a top star.

- WWE officials briefly considered having Damien Sandow cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Night of Champions.

- After taking the Van Terminator at the end of his Night of Champions match against Rob Van Dam, Alberto Del Rio reportedly lost a tooth.

- WWE officials recently discussed two potential roles for Big E Langston, which is part of the reason why he hasn’t been featured on TV as much lately. The roles were Paul Heyman’s latest acquisition or a bodyguard for Daniel Bryan.

The feeling is that the alliance with Bryan most likely will not happen and the new “Paul Heyman Guy” role went to Ryback.

- There appears to be very little to no interest from WWE in bringing Mickie James back.

- The Shield vs. Cody Rhodes, Goldust and Dusty Rhodes is being discussed for WWE’s Battleground pay-per-view. There’s a feeling that Dusty may not be used in the match because of his age but it’s said that if Vince McMahon gets his way, Dusty will be in the match. Some feel that Dolph Ziggler should team with Cody and Goldust.

- Vince McMahon was said to be very pleased with the Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns RAW main event this week. The match was seen as Reigns’ best in-ring work yet.

Speaking of Vince, he’s high up on The Wyatt Family and their promo videos, especially the mic work of Bray Wyatt. At the same time, there’s a feeling that there needs to be some kind of advancement with the group. The challenge is finding a “happy medium” with the way The Shield was pushed from day one.

I agree.

I wasn't really a Reigns fan before then. That match helped me to see that he's kinda ******g awesome.

Reigns needs to improve his mic work. With that molasses pace, seems like he's been watching old Randy Orton and Triple H promos for inspiration.

Reports sre that Ohno has returned to NXT and looks better than ever.

Good for him. Hopefully he gets called up to the main roster soon.

No chance in hell. As per PWInsider:

WWE issued the following statement to PWInsider.com in response to Dave Scherer's post about fans requesting refunds from their cable provider following the Raw angle that negated the main event finish of WWE Night of Champions:
“While certain fans may not have liked the continuing storyline following Night of Champions, we’re certain that the 3-hour pay-per-view event delivered all the entertainment and excitement expected from WWE.”

And here's an awesome article on WWE.com about D-Bry's early beginnings. S/O to Takeshi Morishima, KENTA, Lance Cade, Low Ki, Nigel and THE Brian Kendrick

Reigns was really impressive on Raw. He's improved a lot over the past year.

Agreed.

One has to wonder..

What if it was Leo Kruger in Reigns place in the Shield? Seems like he would have been a perfect fit for the gimmick.

- Michelle McCool and her husband The Undertaker were training at the WWE Performance Center last week. A WWE source noted that McCool looked amazing and way better than she did when she was still wrestling for the company. It was also noted that year ago she was in serious talks about coming back but there’s a feeling that now would be a good time to return because she could make it back in time to set up a run that would get her a nice WrestleMania XXX payoff.

- Ricardo Rodriguez may be put with Rey Mysterio as his personal ring announcer when Rey returns soon. Ricardo is currently scheduled to be with Rob Van Dam until RVD takes time off in October.

- Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton at WWE Battleground may end up being an Iron Man match. That way, WWE could do another indecisive finish, leading to the Hell In a Cell pay-per-view where there could be a definitive winner once and for all. A stipulation will likely be added to Rob Van Dam vs. Alberto Del Rio also.

- There’s a feeling within WWE that William Regal may be the guy who takes over the duties that Jim Ross had working with WWE developmental talents in NXT.

Regarding his retirement, there were rumors within WWE a few days before it was made official. On September 10th, one day before it was official, someone in WWE’s book department contacted an author to inform him that WWE wanted him to write JR’s autobiography.

One source within WWE thought that it was weird for the company to publicize JR’s retirement because if you are a casual viewer of the product, you never see him and would probably presume he’d already retired. It was noted by the same source that WWE cutting JR would never have happened even a few years back and that it proves Vince McMahon doesn’t care about TNA at all and isn’t worried about them.

- Mark Henry should be back on WWE TV very soon, possibly Monday’s RAW from Chicago.

- WWE is still planning on taking NXT live events outside of Florida but the feeling is that it won’t be happening this year. The target date for attempting the big change is some time after WrestleMania XXX.

Appreciate Michelle McCool being pretty good in the ring. I don't care for her irritating voice and lack of charisma though.

WWE already planning for a Dusty finish for Bryan/Orton

If y'all type on The Shield in tumblr, there's tons of really good pics and gifs. But...there's also loads other...interesting stuff on there. They have a huge amount of female fans, and apparently they write erotica stories about each member. LOL.

Roman Reigns probably gets plenty of P thrown at him, but he'd much rather hit the gym. Seems that way on twitter, Total Divas just confirmed it.

Interesting post. I swear the folks that does the WWE magazine have no connection to what WWE typically does. Ignore every other facet of the wrestling world. Another example. Hell they even give Tenryu and Misawa shoutouts. Koji Kitao vs. Earthquake was ackonowledged. I don't get it.

In the early '90s, WWE presented a series of major events in the Tokyo Dome in conjunction with some of Japan's biggest promotions. Check out rarely seen photos from these shows with Superstars like Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan battling Japan's best!:
