This Flair news is so disheartening. :emoji_pensive:

I knew something was up when news broke yesterday.

Being placed in ICU but being "fine" does not compute.

Hopefully he pulls through.

If you have any heart problem they put you in the ICU automatically

That is not true. It depends on what with your heart. Coming in via ER for chest pain does not automatically mean you are going to ICU.

I've worked in the medical field for 5 years and work for a cardiology group at present.

I know that. I didn't say anything about chest pain.

Get well soon Flair. Gonna catch raw with you fellas tonight. Been working OT this past month. Finally done.

I waa giving an example because heart issues often manifest as chest pain.

Even a patient with a history of atrial fibrillation or prior MI does not mean automatic ICU though. It depends on the situation.

The fact that Ric Flair is in the ICU, is in a medically induced coma, and is set for some sort of surgical procedure related to his heart is very concerning. We have lost too many legends the past 10 years.

I was told when a family member had known heart problems at Cleveland clinic that they are automatically put in their. I don't want to say nothing bad about the medical field but they will tell you anything and a lot of times it's lies. Thanks for clearing that up.
