Last year Taker/Edge HIAC at Summerslam, I was there

Haha thats right. Big Nose was champion during their blow off match. Big difference between a Hell in a Cell between two of the best in thebuisness and a tag match with Degeneration Baby Boomers VS Job Squad 2009.

Most likely, given the size of the arena, they're planning a WrestleMania for then ubt it could be a Royal Rumble or a SummerSlam. We can confirm that a pitch was done for a major WWE event in 2012.
Please bring WM back to Toronto...

if this is in fact Stings last year. Wow would that be great if he could in fact pass the torch to AJ. AJ deserves better!

These old "superstars" should ONLY be wrestling for the Legends title... Leave the young guns to fight it out for the Heavyweight title!

[h2]Chris Jericho Says WWE's In Crisis Mode, Talks Rey and More[/h2]
Posted by Marc Middleton on 08/21/2009
- The Baltimore Sun recently conducted an interview with Chris Jericho. Here are just a few of the highlights:

Fans really seemed to be excited about you and Edge teaming together. How disappointing was it to have it end so abruptly because of Edge'sinjury?

It was disappointing because I think we had a great story line in the works, with a lot of trips and traps that were going to lead to a certainplace. But it was one of those things that the moment it happened you're like, "Well, OK, what are we going to do now? Back to the drawing board." You can't do anything about it. It's part of what we do. So it was very disappointing. And thenas soon as I found out that they're going to push The Big Show, I was intrigued about it. You have to turn a negative into a positive and I think we've done that. We'vemade the best of the situation while we wait for Edge to heel. Like I said, it would have been great, but everything happens for a reason. You have to drop itand go on. Big Show has been a great replacement. Everyone said it had to be Dolph Ziggler or The Miz. No, this is about two world champions at the top oftheir game who have a certain stature. Yeah, it would help them, but it wouldn't help me. We're trying to reinvigorate the tag titles and reinvigorateBig Show as well. The guy is a giant. He's a commodity and people need to be reminded of that and we need to start promoting that.

When you were in WCW, it seemed as if the guys at the top were reluctant to work with and elevate guys who had potential such as yourself. Now that youare in the position of being a top guy, did what you experienced in WCW influence how you approach working with younger guys?

It wasn't reluctance; it was just denial. They just wouldn't do it and it [ticked] me off so much because there was a lot of money left onthe table. It's something that I said that I would never do. We're in a crisisperiod in WWE and we need to build new guys. When Shawn Michaelscame back to Raw, he said, "Whose been built since I left?" On Smackdown we've built [John] Morrison and [Dolph] Ziggler and Cryme Tyme. TheIntercontinetal title has been rebuilt now with Rey Mysterio. But I can't tell you on Raw who has been built over the last six months. They better do itsoon, because when this generation of performers is gone, who will replace them?

Jericho speaks the truth. Raw really needs to build superstars because we already know who Cena Show Orton and HHH are. It seems they arte trying to developHenry as well as swagger and MVP. I wonder if one of those 3 guys wins the strap at the next elimination chamber?

The sad thing is Henry has been with the company 13 years, no need to "develop" him, rather they should release him. Bourne, MVP, Swagger, Miz needto be developed/pushed. The only young/new guy they have done anything with is Kofi.

It looks like I might be completely missing wrestling starting next week because my roommate decided to tell me he doesn't want a TV in our room. FML

That promo was lame to me, but I agree with you about the Legends title reserved for all the old bastards with bad knees.

The TNA crowd sucks so much at the Impact Zone. The lack of chants, cheers and enthusiasm makes iMPACT hard to watch on T.V. sometimes.

And like I stated before, TNA seriously need to work on the entrance themes. I would say the entrance themes are just as important as any other aspect b/c itsets up the crowd to get them hyped for the wrestler that's coming out. Like in WWF/E, whenever you heard the glass shatter, everyone would go crazy andcheer for stone cold, and the same for the rock, jericho, etc. Even the wrestlers that are getting a push received theme music that can easily be identified assoon as it hits (Ziggler, Ryder, Swagger, Bourne, etc)

In TNA, the only theme song i can recognize is the MEM, the beautiful people, and Awesome Kong.

The TNA crowd consists of TNA employees told to chant and cheer for the face because they don't think the free walk-ins at Universal Studiosare smart enough to tell between the face and the heel. Sometimes they just use pre-recorded cheers.

TNA bans photographer:
TNA officials recently made the decision to no longer allow a photographer to shoot photos from the pit area in the Impact Zone because the magazine he was shooting for, the Spain-based wrestling periodical Solo Wrestling, shut down. He had been shooting photos during televised TNA events for nearly two years. Here is what he wrote on his Flickr account concerning the situation: "Effective today I can no longer photograph TNA. I am very upset about this but what can I do right? Myself and Lee South had a very pleasant conversation over the phone about this today. Basically since SoloWrestling Mag is no more I can no longer shoot there. Besides that, come on TNA??? What is it harming that I am no longer a part of Solo? My photos have become so ridiculously popular world wide I still can't believe it. I could say a lot more but I'm not so there you have it. In the mean time I'll just be focusing on uploading the rest of my photos. It's a lot of them. Thank you to those that have supported me and my TNA photography…sniff, sniff…........but don't stop coming here to my site. I still have A LOT OF PHOTOS to upload from previous matches so stay tuned."

Batista to take legal action:
According to a post by the administrator of the message forum of Dave Batista's official website, www.demon-wrestling.com, his legal representation has been made aware of an underground steroid network in Egypt using his picture to brand all of their drugs. The network was broken up by law enforcement two weeks ago. All possible avenues are being explored by his legal reps.

Kofi on being left off Summerslam:
In an interview with SLAM! Wrestling, Kofi Kingston discusses being left off this Sunday's SummerSlam pay-per-view in Los Angeles. "It's bittersweet," Kingston said in interview this past Wednesday. "I would definitely love to be on the card and be involved, but as of now, I'm not." Despite being left off the card, the United States Champion says he "wouldn't miss it for the world."

Will TNA let Vince Russo go:
After a rash of recent changes in TNA there is a feeling that if Vince Russo is ultimately let go, it won't occur until after the Bound for Glory pay-per-view in October. TNA has creative plans in place through Bound for Glory, which is designed to be a WrestleMania-like blow-off event.

Awesome Kong to make big announcement:
Awesome Kong will be making a major announcement soon concerning her future with TNA. Kong wrote the following on her Twitter account earlier this evening (which has yet to be updated as of this post): "Dropping my announcement in my next tweet I hope nobody will be disappointed by it. Thank you TNA management 4 ur support & understanding."

Ashley Massaro having medical problem:
Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro's recent medical issues with her leg are due to an infection that got into the bone, which needed to be shaved.

I'm looking forward to SummerSlam, only due to the C.M. Punk/ Hardy match.
It's already a foregone conclusion that both Cena, and DX will win their matches, so those are throw away matches for me.

If you guys missed it Big Show was on ESPN 710.
