You can make stats say what you want them to say.

The only stats m$ cares about is their bank account stats.

I understand that,

These arent my stats though, they are the developers stats. The same stats they tried to lord over people two days ago. No altering of these whatsoever was done. Theres even source material. 

People will buy the game regardless just cause it has Halo in the title.

Three years post launch H2 had 70% peak player retention

A year post launch H3 had 75% peak player retention

A year post launch H4 had 4% peak player retention, right before MCC it hit 2% some days.

Halo 4 lasted a whole two entire months in the Top 3 of the Xbox Live activity chart. Halo 3 didn't fall out of the Top 3 until Halo Reach released - 3 years after it's release.  

But yet H4 was the highest selling Halo game ever. It would sell anyways, but making the game bad will kill its longevity. But 343 has wised up and abandoned public population counters.

I'm talking specifically about the gameplay hours per beta player stat. That's not the devs. stat.

I think they'd need to use a better stat. analysis, than the basic method they used.

Obviously they don't care, given the first sentence of that pic.

We both know that isn't true.

They use the term "unique players" because it makes the numbers seem more significant. It's misleading because someone who fired it up for 10 minutes likely counts as a unique player.

Halo is not the sensation that it was in 2007.
