Here's a little backstory:

I only have 1 controller that isnt modded with smart triggers and back buttons (think scuf.. but from a different company called battle beaver customs... still legit, MLG approved etc.... its because im a heavy FPS player )

I wanted to play Forza Horizon 2 last night and i needed to use my stock controller because i need the full length ( no ayo) of the controller to proper accelerate and race.

Found out that controller's left analog stick is not being responsive and I need a new controller....

its quite a scumbag move... but M$ gets hundreds of dollars a year from me and they're constantly cutting corners so I feel ever so slightly justified in cutting a corner back on them...

SOOOO heres the trick:

gonna go to walmart or target... I go to walmart cuz theres one dang near accross the street from my place:

- buy a controller

- Swap out your broken one into the new box

- Return (broken) controller

- Receive ~$60 giftcard for the returned electronic

- Flourish with the new controller

I've done that Walmart thing with a console. I sent mine on for repairs bought one played it until my real console came back and then returned the Walmart one

I played the beta. I'd call it ok. It's standard mmorpg fare.

Voice acting is terrible, text in the screen is hard to see at times.

Menus are kinda not very helpful. I wasn't sure how to manage my inventory
It reminds me of a less polished dragon age inquisition. A lot of button pressing and managing cool downs.

But it's free so I can't complain too much. Comes out 3/31

I think you just gave me an idea. Because my ps4 is already messed up and it'll take 3 weeks to get it back, if I ship it.
