Hello friends,

Checking in once again to provide the latest on Halo: The Master Chief Collection updates, and also talking a bit of #HUNTtheTRUTH. Let’s get to it.
MCC CONTENT UPDATES
The April content update, which focuses on ranking, title-specific improvements, and more, remains on track for delivery this month, and the team is putting on the finishing touches, and running final test passes. We’ll provide details about the full contents once we have locked a definitive release date. Additionally, we’ll detail some of the new systems that are being put in place regarding quitting, betrayals, reputation, and more. Look for more info soon.
MCC PLAYLIST UPDATES
This week, we released Team Doubles, which allows you to play a mix of Halo 2 Classic, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4 game types, and we'd like to thank you for your feedback on the playlist. We will adjust voting options and weighting in a future update to improve the mix of BR-start game types. Last week, I didn’t mention Team Objective, and I do believe some of the strategists and tacticians amongst our ranks began to worry. Fear not, hill holders and flag fumblers: Team Objective is still on the way, and tentatively scheduled for release in the coming weeks. Additionally, we’re looking forward to bringing SWAT back into the mix.

For those of you who haven’t yet begun following #HUNTtheTRUTH, the story follows the detailed and enigmatic reports from 26th century war journalist and photographer Benjamin Giraud, who you originally met way back in the Halo Graphic Novel story Second Sunrise over New Mombasa. Giraud is on the hunt for the truth behind the Master Chief; who he is, how he became the hero we know, and how things may have changed since the Covenant War ended. Through both never-before revealed visual documentation as well as lore-laden audio episodes, you can join Ben on his journey to discover more about the Chief than ever before. To catch up, head here, and to listen to each week’s episode, you can head to the Halo Channel, Soundcloud (via the aforementioned link), and as of today, the episodes are also available on iTunes.  The next episode will be available at 6PM PDT on April 5.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll start talking a bit more about Relic, ODST, and future updates. We’re excited, and we hope you are too.

Lastly, I will be traveling out of the country for the next week, so please do expect delayed responses on Twitter and elsewhere as I bounce around on café wifi. Upon my return, I’ll be back with the latest.

Until then,

Bravo
This update really contains nothing. Its like they copied and pasted from the last one. Worst company ever.

This sort of communication coming from 343 should be unacceptable.  It demonstrates extremely poor customer service, communication skills, and a lack of a defined process.  Not only do the updates come out at inconsistent times and days, but they have been continually rehashing the same items over and over again since the first week (i.e. ranks coming soon!), with no additional details to add.  At the very least, the bulletins should come out at a consistent time and contain some substance -- something of which most bulletins in recent memory have been lacking.  Now that Bravo is going to be MIA next week (which is no excuse), I am foreseeing an apology for a delayed bulletin and/or no bulletin whatsoever.

At this stage in development, 343 should easily be able to provide us which bugs and/or enhancements they are targeting, along with a "definitive" timeline, it's project management 101. Frankly I don't recall ever getting a "definitive timeline" on any of the content updates, they just seemed to appear loosely on Bravo's "soon."

I find 343's complete disregard for meaningful communication as utterly disrespectful and deliberately negligent to the community.  145 days and this is what we get.

ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FIVE DAYS

Jesus Christ famb please just move on not. just for me but for the sake of the thread. I can't keep reading your posts famb I can feel da agony in dem pixelated words b

Fixing the game is an unrealistic expectation? Its been almost five months and its barely 20% fixed

Fixing the game is an unrealistic expectation? Its been almost five months and its barely 20% fixed

to the normal consumer, like myself the game is 100% working.

If you tell me the game is 20% fixed, I think its not playable... like how it released.

Game works FINE for me.

Good thing I'm here to expose the truth breh

20%? That's a bit of a stretch bro.
Thats really being generous. Fixing the MatchMaking system doesn't fix the fact that every title in MCC has several mechanical problems, the playlist themselves arent correct, no ranks or skill based matchmaking whatsoever, etc etc

I dont even bother playing cause I'd be playing half done versions of every game in there not named H2A

Dude i kinda feel like u should sell your xbox.

Even if they give you everything you want in the next patch tomorrow you'll just gripe that it took 146 days to get it.

You should cop borderlands man... we had a dope NT run tonight 8o

I really wouldnt, I'd play the game and be happy that it works finally.  Let them fix the game and find some way to bring people back I'd be elated. You guys have created some misconception about me from IDK where. I just want this game to work the way its supposed to, and its nowhere close to that.

If this happened to a game you guys had a genuine interest in I would hope you guys would be displeased.
