You guys don't forget you can stack those Xbox Live subscriptions.

I would buy a year or two when they roll around for the $30-$35 whenever I get the chance and just redeem the code and stack it even though you don't need it right then at the moment.

If you wait until your subscription is about to expire then you'll be scrambling to find something and there probably won't be a deal at that moment.

I need to stop delaying and jump on one of these deals asap. Mine ends the 26th I believe

I would say Atleast no longer than 2-3 days tops but whatever time is best for you and your opponent.

SIDENOTE-i am thoroughly enjoying xbox one.have had no problems,everything hooked up together nice and smooth,yea some things need improvement,but it has definitely been well worth the money and more.i convinced most of my friends to all get one.just showing my appreciation for xbox WON.
