Seller first, then microsoft.**** I bought it on eBay from an authorized seller that includes the manufacturer warranty and everything, but not sure how well that would work out.
Should I contact Microsoft or the seller you think?

im skeptical of wildlands. division at launch was a complete bore to play and i have 0 interest in going back to it
about an hour into the division. I thought the beta was trash, but so far the game's good.
Gives me hope for Ghost Recon Wildlands, since that looks way better than the divison.
State of decay 2 would be the closest thing coming out to fit that descriptionThey need to make a walking dead game like the division
State of decay 2?They need to make a walking dead game like the division

State of decay sold millions.more zombie games is the last thing we need

COD is an established franchise with tons of marketing. So does the COD franchise. I said nothing about their ability to sell.
But it's the most tired and played out game setting
Stealth, survival horror, role-playing, third-person shooter, simulation[sup][8][/sup][sup][9][/sup] |
One thing I like about Sate of Decay 2 is that it will add in MP. hopefully the gameplay is improved as well because I wasn't a big fan of the controls in the first one felt too clunky on the 360 imoI never said anything about genre either. Im bored with the zombie setting, and I dont want to see any more of it
Dying Light looked like OK gameplay, but it seemed mad boring specifically because of the tired zombie theme
SOD 1 was cool, but Im completely turned off to SOD 2 because of yet another zombie retread
FPS genre still entertains me, but Im glad BF went to WW1 cuz thats a new and refreshing setting rather than yet another WWII or modern/future setting
Western RPG remains cn excellent gameplay genre, but I look forward to CyberPunk because it should be an exciting new setting
I know. I was making the correlation between the argument against tired game settings and tired game genres. The arguments against both are pretty similar, since setting and genre are almost the same thing. You illustrated the arguement. "I'm bored with the zombie setting, and I dont want to see any more of it." Yet despite that good "zombie" games still release. The same logic applies for people against the influx of FPS games year after year.I never said anything about genre either. Im bored with the zombie setting, and I dont want to see any more of it

Dying Light is a mirror's edge like RPG. Undead labs is on their second game. It's not like they're making yearly CODs.
Seems like setting is very important to you. Setting isn't what's most important to me.
I'd rather have another game from a "tired" setting than them not existing anymore.
There's several games released this year that don't fit that description.I think the zombie thing bores me the most tho because it opens the door to lazy design. Every game with a zombie antagonist boils down to some minor variation on swarming melee enemies, with occasional super zombies thrown in, all with a healthy does of worthless AI passed off as "zombie AI".
Rinse and Repeat. Barf

homefrontI'm not crazy about a bunch of zombie games myself, but a "dystopian future" setting isn't exactly fresh either

One could argue that said setting is as tired as the zombie setting.
This when you got to write strongly word emails or literal letters to game devs.Totally fair
cyberpunk is definitely not original, but it will at least be a break from the high-fantasy treadmill
(dont get me wrong, Witcher3 and Skyrim are two of my all-time favorites) It just doesn't always have to be dragons and wizards
That was probably my biggest disappointment with The Division
I was super pumped for what I thought would be a new kind of contemporary urban, military/spec ops themed RPG
Instead, what came out was yet another MMO grind fest with basically no single player worth your time
I wouldn't disagree at all
The zombie junk puts me to sleep, but Id be just as interested in an industry shift away from near-future dystopia as well
edit: Not that long ago I enjoyed some quality zombie games, SOD included. Im just ready for a new setting
