NT PS community is somewhat obsolete but personally I have a lot IRL friends that I game with on PS4. Imo, party chat has tarnished online communities for both consoles. It's unlikely you'll actually "meet" new people.

Oh it definitely can. QB debuted to 150k in opening North America and 38k opening week in UK. It's opening to less than that. Then For Honor is gonna steal its lunch the following week

According to the release catalog for upcoming PS4 software that was printed by US retailer GameStop (via SG Gaming Info), it looks like Far Cry 5 may be slated for a release later this year, on November 26, 2017. Presumably, it will come to the Xbox One and PC alongside the PS4, as well.
