Not sure if I agree with that monthly fee to lease/rent a console.

Someone mentioned earlier that it was going to cost $35 a month for the One X or something, but in 10 months that's $350 and a year or 12 months that $420. You could have bought system for that with a few more dollars in a year.

So say you pay that $35 a month for the life expectancy of the console at say 5 years = $2100 or 10 years = $4200. :smh: I'm sure if it takes off Sony and Nintendo going to offer it too.

Yes, I know it's not just the system you're getting, but also Xbox Live, and gamepass, but I rather just own it and then buy what games I want to play.

I can't blame Microsoft though because it took off like crazy in the cell phone industry with leasing/renting phones yearly.

They won't continue to charge for the console after 2 years.

At the end of two years, the renter will fully own the console. The subscription option is cheaper than the usual separate purchase of a console and both online services.
The subscription plan, which is unique to Microsoft and has been rumored for some time, offers a lower barrier to buy gaming consoles, which carry somewhat hefty price tags.

Mw2 backwards compatible this week

God I wish I didn't sell all my 360 games on 99gamers for peanuts :{

Now that site is defunked lost all of my credits I had for it.

Everyone on here if you're going to sell your items please make sure you get actual currency for it and not website credits. If that site falls so will your credits.

I still don't think it's a good idea because again $35 a month - 1 year = $420 and 2 years = $840. A One X, Xbox live, and gamepass does not cost $840 over a two year period... I think it doesn't at least. One X = $500, Live x 24 months = $120, and Gamepass x 24 months = $ 120 = $740.

And really you can get the One X for less if you wait/look around, and Live subscription for like $40 per year if you look.

But, it is an option and some people might like it.

It's not renting tho, it's financing. After two years your subscription is up and you own the console. From there you can probably just re-up with live for 9.99 a month or whatever

They were hacked when I played a few years ago. IW doesn’t even exist anymore I’ll try it tonight and see if it’s even worth playing

Yeah I agree it's not something I'd be interested in but I can see the appeal .

It’s a 2 year contract. You pay $35 for 24 months then you own it

$35 x24 = $840
Xbox one X($500) + 2 years of live ($120) + 2 years of gamepass($240) = $860

So technically you save $20 over the 2 years. However that’s buying everything at retail and not waiting for sales

The deal is good if you don’t wanna drop a limo some of X dollars at 1 time. Sure I could find gold for $40 a year this holiday and an X for maybe $450. But what if I don’t have $500 just sitting around. $35 a month is better in that case

Gamepass is $10 a month $120 a year by $60

4TB seems like overkill. How many games do you guys regularly play to need that much? I've been playing the same 6-8 games the past few months. That being said, that is a good price for 4TB. Looks like it needs an external power source though which I'm not really a fan of.

Different strokes for different folks. Some games are huge too I have 3tb

I just bought a 4TB for my laptop/Movies/TV and a 2 TB for my Xbox.

Don’t see a problem with it.

I got 4tb and im at the point i have to delete games so screw you

I have a 4TB external too with 100 games installed and it only uses up half of my total space including the 1 TB internal storage. It's alwats better to have more than less when it comes to memory especially when the price difference is small.

I need to update the washed thread after playing some mksern warfare 2. Like I can’t believe I used to be able to keep up with the twitchiness of it. But now I’m just completely lost.

Maybe that’s why I find overwatch and halo more preferable in this day and age.

Bruh...
My teammate and I went 21/12 and 20/10
But we got stuck with some scrubs...
