Its good for fans of BOTH systems. Having 2 platforms so comparable in terms of tech and performance means no one suffers an inferior product.

The point is its not about power. It's about games and experiences. That's why I don't put much stick into it. Like the wii u is crap compared to the others but of they released games people love, who cares about how powerful it is. Both systems are going to have beautiful games. I'm just over spouting percentages. It's dumb.

What I never understood was why does the xbox camera cost so much. I want to believe even if the other system included a camera they wouldn't have charged $500.
Besides the parts they also have to recoup the r&d budget. It cost alot to develop the new kinect. And you can't really compare the tech of the kinect to the pseye.

He already explained time and time again. He does not work with PR. He works directly with the engineering team and is a product planner.
Try reading the quote again. He clearly says"I’m not going to get into this PR thing again, There are clearly people who understand, and people who don’t.".
People either selectively read what they want, or just can't get it through their thick skulls.

It comes bundled with the kinect 2, of course it's going to be more expensive. If it had the same price as the ps4 AND the kinect, then i would really question how powerful the xbox is.
Ps4 eye is probably on par or maybe a bit better than the Kinect 1. And that had an original price of more than $100.
If it was on par with the Kinect 2, like you said, they would be "trumpeting" that fact. But they basically shoved it to the side in order to have the price advantage. And the always on blue bar on the controller that was implemented so the Eye can track the user is the dead giveaway.
So lets not sit here and say the ps4 can do everything the xbox does and is the much superior console as them Neodorks think it is.

Dont care. I wouldn't care if MS officially said the ps4 was a 1000 times more powerful than the X1, I'm still buying it for the games i posted earlier. Specs are for people who need to feel validated w/ their purchase. If you really wanna get the best games of next gen then buy all 3 consoles, otherwise enjoy your choice and STHU

My post didn't require a response from gamers who cared strictly about the games. It was for the ones who were making the argument about the console not be much different than the ps4 in terms of power.
