A lot of what has been said so far about what they need to change with Halo I agree with... and I'll add another that I've said in this thread before.

The terrain of the maps...

They need to make the terrain (floors that you walk/run on) to be metal, concret or something that grenades can bounce off of like how the Pit and Narrows and a lot of other maps from H2 and H3 were.

In Halo 4 all the maps were the same look with grassy and brown dirt like terrain/floors so you couldn't do any grenade bounces and drop your opponents shields and finish em off quickly.

I hope they also keep it as frag and plasma grenades and they don't try to add some cluster bomb type nonsense that throws the grenade system off.

The grenades became less and less powerful as the games progressed. The spike grenade was only useful if they stuck and the new alien grenade is completely worthless.

I need to find the H5 forums and spam the changes (or unchanges) they need to do till the game releases.

Have fun getting banned. Belgium will cosign this, but if you go over there with any comments remotely sounding like "You have to make the game more competitive" or critisize anything that they do, you're getting permabanned, and you need a Gamertag to even post there so it makes it even more annoying to make a new account once you get banned.

Because bad people complained about being ranked locked, even though rank locking was by design. Why should you be allowed to easily climb out of a rank when you were stuck at that very rank for 9 months?

They said multiple things

1. Stop cheaters (didn't)
2. Wanted to focus on "earning points" (cod ripoff)
3. Allows for more game types with guests (who cares)

If you really played Halo 3 back in 07-08 you'd know just how much party chat ruined online games. Even taking away the teamwork that in game chat brought it was still great.

Booting up a ranked game, playing a few rounds and talking trash with some randoms in the pregame lobbies, partying up with those same randoms and then running some stairway to heaven or Zombie maze in custom games whilst hearing the panic in people's mics as they ran/played >>>>>>>>>>>>>>everything on the 360 last Gen. Party chat completely took that away

Hopefully Destiny is

 TF isn't cutting for me. I pre-ordered Destiny along with my PS4 back in August of last year but Im thinking I might switch it over to the X1, I literally have two games on the X1 and that's TF and BF4 (which I also have on the PS4). Doesn't Sony get timed-exclusive content like how M$ gets CoD content? I know this was the case with the Destiny beta.

Lol I went through college with some of my halo 2-3 buddies. Literally could hear their children grow up, their voice change. Funny thing is to me he was yomama, or something else of the sort. Then after the good games quit coming, it was over

The game is amazing, no doubt. But that time in my life (1st year college) and being able to have so much free time with dozens of friends who all played it.... man. You can't get better than that experience. Even if they made a better Halo (probably not happening) it still wouldnt touch Halo 2 just on the basis of how much free time I had in my life when it dropped.

Thats how I feel about H3, I no lifed the hell out of that game. Never stopped playing it. Surprised the disc still works.

So true. My attention span to sit down and play a game is not what it was. Now it feels like I'm wasting time.on the other side, I haven't played a game that I felt like was worth getting better at either

This is what happens as we get older gentleman. I always feel like this. Back in the day I could wake up and play a game non stop, probably wasn't even eating right, go to sleep for a few hours, wake up and repeat. Now I have to worry about work and family. It'll never be the same fellas

All this nostalgia talk got me reminiscing on modern warfare, that game had me busy from 5 in the afternoon to 4 in the morn. I use to love overgrown and countdown . I have never been able to recapture that feeling again.

Both Bungie and 343, the latter more so than Bungie, aren't exactly open to discussion about game mechanics on their forums.

My only downside of halo 3 was that I got stuck on lvl 45 and was never able to get to 50 no matter how hard I tried. Gave up after 3 years. F halo in that regard

YOU GET TO BE A 50 BECAUSE YOU HAVE:

- NATURAL TALENT
- WORKED YOUR DAMN BUTT OFF 10 TIMES MORE THAN EVERYONE ELSE
- OR RAN WITH A TEAM THAT HAD GOD LIKE PLAYERS
