Pretty much. It's sells on name alone. It's become the "madden" of FPS so to speak.

Why are you bringing up sales and reviews and not gameplay? Any halo player knows 3 was the last good one. BF online is garbage. TF isn't a game changer. COD is the only game that's stayed true to what it's had since 2005-6. It's the only franchise to just stick to what works (which can also make it kinda boring to some). What are you talking about?

Halo 4s gameplay and feel was good. Much better than I expected. They lost it with the maps and all of the extra bs that accompanied it.

As far as TF vs COD, gameplay and feel wise I say TF takes the cake.

Franchise and fanbase wise (which attributes largely to sales / success), COD obviously wins because of it's vetererancy in the FPS genre.

Halo on the other hand.. Halo 5 is going to be insanely hyped and if done correctly will smash Halo back onto the map and possibly to the top.

Yea, and if the next Final Fantasy is like VII, it'll bring back all the old RPG fans.

I got the official xb stereo headset and the adapter is not working. I just tried updating the controller and the batteries are fresh off the charger and nothing works

Yea, it's really killed a lot of the socialization in games.


So much of it was nonsense and filth being spewed. But the odd time you'd meet someone and have a decent conversation.

My need not to hear kids and clowns calling me N will always out weigh the odd convo w/ a decent person

 

As much as I hate to admit it, COD is probably still the best FPS out there.

Pretty much, nothing else even comes close at this point.

I don't think I could get into withcer 3 after playing 2. The game isn't bad per se but the quest design, maps story were all boring. I spent so much time in the first 2 acts just going back and forth and farming monsters or fetch quests. And man, the game was soooo long. I liked the gameplay but I couldn't keep doing the same thing for that long

Yeah...he was with them since '99 and was suddenly let go in April.

He's the guy responsible for scoring all of the Halo games excluding 4.

Something nasty must have happened behind the scenes.
