Is best buy or gamestop my best bet for tonight? I didn't pre order.

Gamestop is supposed to be handing out tickets at 6 for those who didn't preorder so I would start there and if no dice then head over to Best Buy who set up two lines, one for preorders and one for no preorders. This is how it went down with the PS4 launch so I don't see why it would be different.

I would say GS based off of personal experience. When I went to finalize my PS4 payment, there was a guy there who hadn't pre-ordered the PS4 and he ended up being #1 in line and was first to get his system, even ahead of those who had pre-ordred. Just head up there and wait until 6:00 PM, which is when they will begin finalizing the payment.

The normal process is that UPS has to at least make one delivery attempt and that's usually specified by the shipper so good luck getting them to hold the package before they make an attempt.

If you have MyChoice or sign up for it (it's free) and your package hasn't shipped yet, you do have the option to have them hold it at the carrier facility or delivered to a neighbor within walking distance for free. Actually checked on it this morning and I have the option to change the delivery for it. There are also paid delivery change options for $5.00 (change to another address, hold at a UPS retail store, or reschedule the day entirely).

What everyone said.. Go to GS.. When I went to get my ticket a few guys without preorders were able to do so and get their ticket.. Go early like 5 something and hang out

For anyone that doesn't want to sit around all day friday waiting for delivery or would feel more comfortable knowing exactly where the package is if you've got work or school, call ups and have them hold the package for you and you should be able to pick it up friday morning or any other time of the day thats convenient for you.

Nothing worse than when ups just leaves a $500 package in plain sight with the word amazon plastered all over it.

im having mine shipped to my office i just hope it is here before im out of here at 5. Im 80% sure it will be though

I know that MS did the whole 180 thing with constant connection and DRM but do you still need to connect to the net once per day? I want to cop an X1 down the line before I deploy next June but if the it requires internet once per day, then it'd be useless to me in Afghan.

Also, for anyone who doesn't have work or school until after like 10am, skip midnight release. The servers won't be as buggy in the morning. Sony & Microsoft are both so stupid. They should have just delayed the release.

I'm going to wait at least until Christmas unless I come across a deal I can't refuse.

im still double guessing myself of what i want to do with my 360. As of right now i only use it for nhl, literally. I have games but i dont play them at all. I think i fairly got my use out of that game already but damn its great.

If i was to consider bringing my 360, i dont need the box correct ? 

If homie just got 240$ im considering it to the fullest. i think id be able to rack in atleast 150-2

you for those of you that havent pre ordered you may want to call your local gamestop now. I called them at 11 this morning to ask if i should come in at 6 since i didnt have a preorder and the dude told me that they had been handing out vouchers for non preorders all morning. I had to rush in and get the last one. Now have to go back at 6 to pay it off because they wouldnt let me do it at the time and again at midnight to pick it up.
