they bailing out of so many deals, they def won't invest money in a league that more than likely would fail to yield any money in their pocket

That would be big for them as well cause they've been hurting lately. Wouldn't be surprised if UA is part of the group that bought the XFL.

The Rock has shown that he can bring dead movie franchises back from the dead. I'm excited to see what he can do with his name attached to the XFL.

So with Corona issues likely to still be going strong at least in early 2021 I'd say its likely realistic to expect a new season no earlier than 2022. Will be interesting to see who Rock and co. partner with and if they try to bring back Oliver Luck and some of the higher ups from this year.
