I figure I would make this post for everybody to highlight the best releases this years, the disappointments and more for 2007.
First of the AF1 had too much going on, too many released just because. The best were the Bobbitos and Player series.
Puma made a comeback due to the Clyde and Suede.
Adidas didnt do to much on the originals side except for the Materials of the World.
The Gil Areanas, Time Duncan/Kevin Garnett campaigns were hot.
Lebrons were on point once again.
I liked the hybrid sneaker concepts from Nike(especially Mita) but I think people didnt get it or the colors were not appealing.

^Agreed on the Air Force 1s this year... Nike saturated the market with those. Bobbito Highs, White/Red & White/Gold Player's series were a good lookthough...

I was disappointed in all but two of the B-More forces, one of which was a women's.

Loved: Bobbito's, Aquas & Fire Red IIIs

That's all that comes to mind right now.

For me...

Blue Penny Foams (which I still haven't UN'DSed)
Mita Dunk Trainers (recently started to grow on me)
MF Doom Dunk SBs (still DS)
Aqua 8s (1 worn...1 DS)
Spizikes (Blk/Green/Red)
Fire Red 3s (Also still DS)

add the Mita's to that and my list is basically done. cough size 13 cough

penny foams...i think thats the only pair of nike new releases i picked up this year.

Best = laser blue 90s, azure 90s, varsity red, royal blue and teal air max lights.

Worst = basically every other runner.

E.O.H's "Top 10" of 2007:

#10 - Jordan I package, blk/rd

Always wanted a pair of "black toes," even if midcut.

Thanks to "harmcityhustler" for looking out. Oh, and thank you deadbeats too!

#9 - Adidas Equipment bball, blk/blk urban only
NOT the blk/reds, but the blk/blk that came with a blue sock and blk sock.
7th grade - couldn't afford 'em. 15 years later, jokes on you jack!

Too many other colorways/versions released though.

#8 - Jordan III retro, fire red
Quality on p-o-i-n-t for a change. Too bad it was "mocha" cement.

#7 - Adidas Megabounce, 1st colorway
Only "true" running shoe I own. Joints are heaven.

#6 - Huarache LE ACG, "tier 0" mowabb colorway
[Jay-Z] "Speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech!"
eek.gif

#5 - Jordan VIII retro, blk/rd
Excellently done shoe. Pull tab color change isn't that serious, is it?
Keeping the "cracked nubuck" was a sweet touch.

#4 - Huf Air Max "1s"
Real side hustler's/reseller's dream. Thanks DTLR for the delay! Hov!
Oh, and the actual shoe is pretty dope too.

#3 - Penny Foams
Ranked low, since I had crisp o.g. NO COMPLAINTS on this retro.

#2 - AF1 Bobitto High, red
Not even an "AF1 head," and I couldn't deny these. Thanks DTLR for the delay!
Best overal AF1 in 5 years in IMO; quality and price unmatched.

And my top shoe of 2007 is...

#1 - Air CB 34 retro, suns colorway
These weren't even "limited" or a "tier 0" and people still went nuts.
Best GR in quite a while. A classic is a classic. Hype or not. Proven.

AF1.
Number 1!!!
Bobbitos. Bobbitos. Bobbitos. Red and Wheat...
2.Canvas Cannvas Canvas
Jordan.
1.OL/NL
2.Arnt the RED.WHT.BLK 1s dropping as the christmas shoe? if so, throw that in...
Vans
1.Blueberry (as Harmcity calls them) W)taps

OL/NL was the worse..

AN NO JORDANS WERE SPECIAL, lol everything was leaked weeks ahead of time

see what 08 has in store

SURVEY!!!!!

Playoff 8's or laser 15's?

2008?! lookin 4ward to the iphone for tmobile, the pippens, the penny2 and the packages.. hope their limited like the DMP's but at the rate nikes goingprobably not

^
Please don't tell me you're one of them "gotta be limited" dudes... lol. Only way to standout now is to be barefoot.

And, everything "leaks," especially if you willing to spend the money. You can holla at anyone from NC to Philly and get what you want early --retail sucks right now.

naw u gotta admit how often were jordan available freely weeks be4 release.. i say not till early this year with the 3's craze.. yea im a rare fan of the15's.. an i like what i like but dont like what all have a dog. with sites like this an iss.. no one is limited less u meerly own undftd iv's allsolecollectors, all stash
what the dunk, flom an stuff of that nature, gotta get ur just blaze on

It's all in how your wear it. I can see 3 people wearing the same shoe and yet still bring a different light to it. The craze for having a limited shoe isoverrated. Even if you feel like you have something limited there will always be someone $#^!ing on that sneaker. Just go for the love and have the rightoutfit.

P.S Penny foams were #1 this year. Just thought i'd throw that out there again.

The SB line was mediocore at best this year but the Prod did a world of good for NikeSB.
Simple shoes made a comeback with Common Projects and the remergence of Clae.
I always loved Creative Recration but, this year was suspect.
The Nike Dunk will never die but it was quite this year, isnt 2008 a dunk anniversary?

I agree with what most people said already but I have an addition the vans chukka kicks/hi collab are def up there this year

penny foams, black 5's and aqua 8's. only new releases i copped. it was a great year for me with other kix though, melo 2's, nubuck 12's, neonam95's, raptor 7's, french 7's, unc 6's, cool grey 9's, and last shots. all in a sz 13, oh it was a great year for me

^WHAT YEARS? OR YEAR ARE YOU IN? THOSE DEF AINT O7...mine # would have been the dt max if they didnt "f" up the retro...totally of from the origianal
