you see these news conferances with thousands of dollars, but what happens with it.....

They end up selling it again. They keep it for a long time first tho. Sometimes they need mad ki's for some undercover cats or a sting operation. Most ofthe shh is filed as evidence and needs to be referenced to years and years down the line.

Just saw you asked about the money not the drugs. They have to re-circulate that money back in to gen. pop eventually. Got to go through some paper work onhow.

to answer your question though the government keeps some, and the department uses the rest for equipment and drug training
