And quick question, would a 50mm f/1.8 lens for my D40 produce pictures like yours? I asked you a few pages back what kinda lens you used, figured that lens for a D40 would be a decent choice.

The 50mm f/1.8 will give you insane DOF, but you wont' have AF unless you buy the $400+ 50mm f/1.4 DX lens that released last year. The 50mm f/1.8 shouldcost you about $75 shipped. It's pretty much a staple lens. DO IT!!


Edit: In the past, I believe he said he was using the Tokina 11-16mm lens.
