YOUR friendly buy/sell guide got ripped off...

Ok so here's the story, i saw some shoes in the sneaker showcase here on NT and decided i NEEDED them. So i searched far and wide on every site and ebayand found nothin. Then finally i see some dude on ISS roberto moncada aka tonito23 sellin a pair in my size and he had like 34 feedback so i jump on it as fastas possible. Set up the agreement and paid him 155 thru paypal(10 bucks extra just so he'd ship fast). That was damn near 3 weeks ago. He hasn't sentanythin and what really pisses me off is that he's online ALL THE DAMN TIME(like right now)AIM - VaNiLLA FaCe218. He ignores me on aim but i tried adifferent screenname and he responded of course then once he knew who i was he started ignorin that name too. The ISS staff member HYPE has been really helpfuland closed his sellin threads and tried contactin him but he ignores everythin. Bein ripped off has me pretty damn heated and one way or another i'm gonnaget this dealt with.

So my question is what exactly do i do with paypal ta try and get my money back?

file a complaint with paypal... they should give you the money back because he would have no proof of shipment or anything, but you never know with them

They will freeze both your accounts to investigate. Both accounts would be frozen for about a month. Since he didnt ship you anything, you SHOULD get yourmoney back. You're lucky he shipped you NOTHING at all oppose to him just shipping you a box full of trash. Make the claim asap though.

Paypal pretty much always favors the buyer, so I've heard, which actually makes it easy for buyers to scam sellers. I'd say file a claim and you'llbe OK.

but because this transaction isn't completed through eBay, i don't know how they go about handling it.

And yeah yeah i know bein a guide and gettin ripped looks bad but it just goes ta show you even if you take every precaution sometimes things go bad and atleast there are ways of dealin with it.

Unless you don't use paypal then you're pretty screwed.
