Your Next Vacation Destination.....?

My favorite is Florence, I spent a good 10 hours walking in one day there and it was worth it.

For Rimowa luggages, I have a carry on and a check-in size one. They were both around the same price! If you're going to Europe, pack your clothes in an old luggage and buy a Rimowa luggage there, it's so much cheaper.

The quality is excellent, but it'll be dinged up by the first time you check it in. To me, the only exceptional quality of Rimowa is the wheel. On a smooth surface, it really rolls like its on butter. They use to only offer the hard-shell luggages, but a few years ago they came out with a hyrbid.

I also use Samsonite and Victorinox luggages, which works fine for my trips. And my mind is much as ease because I could care less if they ding those up.

Loved Florence and Rome the most I believe. Florence has the dope Gucci museum and this ill *** outdoor restaurant right next to it with bomb *** chicken parm.

My next trip/adventure is to Africa. Going in a little under 6 weeks now. Started getting my shots and vaccines recently. Typhoid in this bish.

I should honestly buy my ticket right now.
But I'm holding off till next Friday

Just got back from Europe yesterday. I went for my 31st Birthday. I visited London, Amsterdam, and Paris. I was a little nervous because my wife is pregnant, but she made it through the long flights.

Paris is finally starting to grow on me. Also right now is a great time to visit England with the Pound being low.

Thinking about heading to Africa or Asia for my next trip.

i've been to australia 2x. first time i lost 3 hubcaps off my rental from hitting the median or curb so many times [emoji]128514[/emoji]
got lost in a nice neighborhood trying to get to the sydney zoo and some kid sitting on a curb made the slanty eyes and buck teeth face at me. it was one of the few times in my life i experienced any type of racism so i laughed it off. although i'm mostly japanese, i'm really dark and probably look more polynesian or american indian. i'll never forget that. kid ran in the house when i came to a stop [emoji]128514[/emoji]

btw i enjoyed australia.

Headed to Africa beginning of May. There for 3 and half weeks. Epic ****. Will probably become President of a country or village.

Best city to sight see in italy? Or any other recommendations anywhere? Plan on a small trip with my wife last quarter of 2017.

Can anyone school me on getting to cuba as an american?
Try going to Venice if you can.

As for Cuba say you're going for education purpose. That's what my friends did

Take a lot of pics and post them here when you get back.  I am trying to plan an Italy / Euro trip as well.

Is Australia sort of like being in the states? As far as the food, culture, things to do, etc? For some reason I feel like Sydney is something I can experience in California, minus the accents and what not. That is why I have no passion to go out there but I wonder if I am being naive.

Im also curious about Australia. Whenever I saw some travel shows on tv, doesnt seem like its even worth going there. Not enough interesting things to see/do. I could be wrong

i would liken the vibe in sydney to something like huntington beach/ costa mesa. probably the only different food i ate there were pasties (meat turnovers). i drove really far to visit a reptile farm and the vastness of australia is something a hawaii native like me isn't used to. if i were to do it again, i'd go dive the barrier reef or see more of the desert.

i didn't really sight see too much. my whole purpose to go there was to catch some leaf-tailed geckos and smuggle them back to the US. i almost got busted on my second trip so i never went back.

^^^^Damn....geckos are like some Jordans or something? That's a crazy thing to do.

Alright....I'll scratch Australia off my list. My buddy went there and visited Chinatown and held a Kangaroo. I would rather do New Zealand but even that country looks a little too simple for my taste. I know someone that backpacked throughout the whole area and I didn't really see anything worth note.

australia prohibits export of their wildlife for the pet trade (or at least they used to) so it's big business - especially the parrots. i did it a few times a long time ago and haven't been back since. hopefully one day i can go there and dive the great barrier reef.

What town are you staying in Cinque Terra? Loved our time there...if memory serves, we stayed in Vernazza but hiked/traveled to all of them.

How are you moving about? Are you driving or taking trains?

Depending on your travel arrangements, you could either pass through Siena on your way to Rome or otherwise take a day trip from Florence there.

Italy is one of the few places I'd continue going back to.

How long is your trip? I went for a week and each day i took the train to different cities. My hotel was 30 mins outside of venice. We visited the Island of Burrano and the following cities: Florence, Pisa, Rome, Milan and Venice. You can purchase rail tickets online just make sure you give yourself ample time to get back to the train.

Check out my thread on my trip for some ideas.

Can't live life like that bro. I'm from Chicago, and all the cool art exhibits are downtown, you'll be 100% fine.
