Just finished watching this and figured it needed a thread. Best crime type show I’ve watched since maybe the wire, puts narcos to shame imo.

This **** fire. Cant really call it "better" than narcos so far but def has a much darker feeling to it throughout. You don't know what to expect in it.

They hit it on the head with this, acting and story.

I love the grittyness of it. Reminds me of that scene in sicario where they crossing the border to pick up the prisoner and bring him to the us. I thought this show was gritty, dark, mysterious, etc. and loved it. that always seems more realistic to me, whether I’m right or wrong.

also enjoyed seeing something based on how the zetas came about.
