Important question fellas who have these. I hate straps on bball shoes. Most gimmicky thing I've ever seen. I was wondering would these still function properly in terms of performance if I were to remove that obnoxious gimmick of a strap?
Yea those white / black speckled 8's are SUPER FLAME. I've been dying to get natural, organic old school bball shoe colorways on a nice model for sometime now. Enough of all this caryola, ghetto, juvenile, look at me highlighter color nonsense on every pair of performance sneakers now a days.
Thanks for dropping knowledge. LOL ... do you agree or disagree? Everything is overdesigned, and overcolored now. Less is more. These white / black Soldier 8 speckles are proof. As are basically every OG Jordan in existence, and most of LeBron shoes pre XIII. No more of these obnosxious colorways that don't go with ANYTHING a normal person would wear. Versatility please.

I'm pretty sure you'd compromise some of the lockdown, but it will perform just fine because of the heel counter
i do have to admit, your rant at the end about all the other shoes did make me laugh
Agree. Bright colors are good for basic accenting. If you use a bright color for a good majority of the shoe, don't make the entire shoe that color, or not contrast it with dark colors. i like the og jordans though, but when you say lebron xiii didn't you mean lebron 8?Thanks for dropping knowledge. Yea, the LeBron 8 had nice normal colorways. Then everything since has been dipped in highlighters it seems.
