Damn, I was excited for these but seeing that recently posted video the shape of the sneaker is… pretty bad think I’ll be passing on them. Not too knowledgeable on the OG’s but that couldn’t be how they were shaped right?

I agree the new shape is worse than the 2005s and 2016s, but that same video showed the ad for the OG pair and it looks pretty similar to the 2024. Same low mudguard and cliff toe.

I think they're pretty good! Typical wavy unevenly stretched textile in the toe box, thanks low wage country outsourcing! Not sure what some of you don't like about the shape, but this is my first pair so I have no reference. I expected them to be much bulkier, but they're pretty slim. They do run a little small (11.5) but that's partly because of the really beefy zoom insole. I put regular air max insoles in and got a lot more wiggle room. The best news here is that the midsole is not a brick! Unlike most retros in the last 5-10 years, with the exception of the fantastic 2020 infrareds and the culmination with the über brick big bubbles.
Unless there are infrareds next year I now don't have to spend my hard earned cash on overpriced sneakers until a possible AM360 retro in 2026.
