    Raf may be out at CK and I know many had mixed feelings about his work there but loving this recent pickup;

    Picked these up back when they first went on sale (was lucky to get a price adjustment), casual friday... Hope everyone in process gets theirs

    I personally own several pairs of Magnanni, and like them. Relatively stylish and reasonably comfortable blake construction. I wouldn't pay the $300-$500 retail, but if you can get pairs in the $150-$200 range they are a solid pickup. They also produce lines for Saks and Neiman Marcus as...

    My guess is someone on the web team screwed up and posted the store stock to the old 'on sale' listing for the grey discontinued colorway. So either NM is discontinuing this color altogether (unlikely i think), or is posting the new sigaro under the grey boot tag was an error. Hope everyone...

    Protip, add two filler items and get 35% off (with socks below, your total would be 270-ish). I already got a pair so have at it! For those that don't know as well, these are the 'new' chelsea (slightly different shape than past versions). I'm not sure I like them as much, but at this price...

    I've only had experience with the Sigaro suede version of the Wyatt/Chelsea, and these definitely feel less delicate.  The texture is kind of a soft oily feeling.  Sounds odd, but if you've ever felt a waxed jacket before, think of that combined with the softness of suede and you get the idea.  ...

    Waxed Suede Wyatt (going to need a more aggressive taper on pants to match the 'new' slimmer circumference).  They are more of a charcoal then a straight black, with a weathered nickle look to the harness hardware.

    If they are a half size big 'all around', try a thin leather insole, that should tighten things up.  I use these in some of my pairs.... FYI if you do go with those size up at least one from your usual size as they run small and you can always trim to fit.

    Damn, trying really hard to resist these as I've spent way too much lately but those are

    See a lot of SLP Sneaker/Harness/Chelsea love but not much in the way of Duckies.  Just picked up this pair of NOS double buckles and they are extremely nice, solid hardware and nice soft leather.

    Sorry in actuality I was confusing Story Et Fall with the blatant SLP copy from Puerhomme.  I have no problem with people trying to rock the SLP aesthetic for less.

    Unfortunately I've never owned any Lanvin sneakers so I can't really compare them.  I'm a 43 in most 'dress' shoes, and is what I sized in the Lanvin.  I can describe them as true to size and somewhat narrow.  If in between sizes I would definitely recommend sizing up as opposed to down, you can...

    Sorry, wasn't trying to say that, in actuality I was confusing Story Et Fall with true (blatant) SLP copy in Puerhomme (Mondays will do that to me).  I have no problem with people trying to find ways to rock the SLP aesthetic for less.

    Leather sole. Hey I hear you, which is why I noted you'd be better off with SLP at retail (I didn't pay retail for my pair, nor could I really condone it).  But IIRC, even early in the Hedi-era some of the SLP boots were cemented construction.  People all day long pay huge bucks in this very...

    Late to the game on this response but I do own the Lanvin Chelsea and can highly recommend them.  While at $795 you'd prolly be better off getting SLP as noted by others, I will say they are the most comfortable boot I've ever owned.  If you see them on sale I'd say give them a try. The Good...
