My Traffic Jams have been solid. Been rotating between them and the Visions which have also been great. Haven't had traction issues on the average and below average courts I regularly play on.
Had similar comparison experiences w/ my 'Win Like 82' AJ32s vs. Volume 2. At the 2 rec center courts I usually play at, the 32s were sadly slipping and sliding. Playing in my 'Traffic Jam' Vol 2s over the course of 2 and a half weeks on the same courts have been great traction-wise, seemingly...
How's everyone finding the traction in the Vol 2s for hooping? I've been taking my Traffic Jam pair to some of the worst rec courts in my neighborhood and haven't had any traction problems you wouldn't also experience in any other shoe. Been enjoying them overall and have been eyeing the Step...
My California Dreamin' pair came in today. They fit great for me in my TTS of 11.5, which is also my Nike size. With other Adidas shoes like the Ultra boosts or Yeezy 350 v2s, I wear a 12 otherwise my toes go numb. These definitely feel a little more snug than the vol. 1s for me (also 11.5)...
Worst ankle sprain I've ever had was in the AJ29s. 2 on 1 fast break, I went up for a layup and the defender came under me making me land high on my right ankle spraining it on both sides. It sidelined me for 5-6 months with rehab. When I started hitting the courts again I was crazy...
Can't speak for the 31 lows, but everything was great with my 'Win Like 82' 32s except the traction on dusty courts. Like everyone else has been saying, they do start off stiff and take a little while to break-in. I wonder if a solid outsole option helps at all with the 32, because I love...
What's the consensus on the traction for the AD mid w/ a solid outsole? I searched through the tread a bit and watched a couple YT vids but didn't come back with much. I've been eyeing the wolf grey pair on Eastbay to add to my rotation and I regularly play on average to dusty courts.
I'm...
Totally agree with you. Having them on feet now basically showed me how crazy it would have been to go a full size and a half up. I've heard and read of people doing that which in turn made me question getting 'em in a 12 (half a size up) after ordering 'em on Saturday. Just over thinking it...
I'm saying they're fine for me in a 12 like my UBs, but they do run narrow around the toe box area in general, and yeah I'm 11.5 in Jordans and Nikes, so not that big of a sizing difference. I could have probably used less words to get my personal experience out to begin with for better clarity.
Got my "breds" in from ADC today, and I'm still scratching my head as to how I got them online this past Saturday.
Went with my Ultraboost size in a US 12 since the resale oreo pair I picked up a while ago in 11.5 were too tight. For reference, I wear an 11.5 in the Hardens for ball, and all...
I have slightly wide feet and the Kobe 11s in my TTS (11.5) fit perfect for me, not snug just a perfect 1-1 fit. I went TTS w/ the Hardens and love the extra toe and forefoot room for ball since I have gorilla toes. I tried them in an 11, but they were way too snug for me.
If you can front...
Been enjoying playing in my Pioneers so I picked these up from FTL in San Diego (UTC Mall) today. Didn't see the Dark Ops there btw. These retailed at 160.
For sizing talk, I have a slightly wide feet, so my Nike TTS in 11.5 works better for me than going down to an 11 (length fits fine...
I leave the top laces a little loose like I normally do, and they slip on easy enough. These are very comfortable btw. I obviously need to try 'em out on court, but I think they'll be fine for the trash level of hoops I partake in, lol.
Got my resale pre-heats in yesterday in my usual Nike US 11.5. I don't think I could have gone half a size down in these as my toes would definitely crash. Looking forward to trying these out on court tomorrow.
One thing I noticed with the fit is that I couldn't tighten them well around the...
Called the Fashion & UTC HoH in San Diego, both will carry the pre-heat 9s, FCFS. Are these really "limited"?
Looking forward to taking these straight to the court.
Took these straight to the court. The things I didn't like w/ the XX9 they fixed w/ the 30.
Postive differences I like about 'em so far:
Snug fitSofter and grippy OrthoLite insoleSmoother transition
They also feel better under my high arches, where the XX9s didn't. This could go hand in...
