Looks like those Boulders are probably a re-release with pebbled leather. My smooth ones are 1 digit off on the style code(630034 222), have the pre barcode size tag and a 930911 production date so almost a full year before that pebbled pair.

I think actually the shape started changing subtly around 97-98. The heel of the shoe lost that awesome curve of earlier pairs but for the most part the rest of it stayed around the same. The heel still sorta sat over the midsole too. 00-01 or so toeboxes seemed to start getting slightly squarer...

^Been going back and forth with an ebay seller on a pair of those. More not mine, such a dope colour way, love the subtle little hint of black on the plastics too.

That black nubuck pair are really interesting, gum sole, patent swoosh, backwards swoosh on heel tab but with a perforated toebox!?
