    Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite 2017

Just received my Alphafly Nature and really like them so far! The „dirty look“ of both midsole and upper make them appear kind of handcrafted and somewhat more valuable. Fit is much improved: really secure at your feet through the extra rubbery material. They are heavier now, but you hardly...

Nike suggests when customizing that both parts should have the same white. With the front stripe being white too, yours look really ok. With other stripe colors the white topline looks awkward. They really should have offered the option of a non-colored topline, so midsole all sail (or true white).

Try them. I‘ve got flat feet too, but stability shoes like the Kayano or most Ascis in general never did me any good or gave me any fun. No problems with Vaporflys, they even helped me with my feet getting achy on hard surfaces. Get the VFN2, if it‘s an either-or decision.

Finally did it with my VFN2 Breaking2 colorway some weeks ago. Imagined this was kind of fitting 😅 Good luck for getting this 40 soon!

It‘s fun for sure playing around with all the colors. But for a really dope look you gotta keep it simple. So these will definitely be mine:

Wouldn‘t agree on the durability issue though. I own quite a couple of VFN in multiple colorways and sometimes wish they would deteriorate faster just to justify breaking in another pair 😅 I think ever since Nike has improved on the OG VF and VF FK durability hasn‘t been a big issue anymore...

First went TTS with Alphafly (all VF +0,5), then noticed that I can feel big toe after a few miles. Went back to +0,5 and noticed that it was only very slightly bigger, but just about right. Shoe even looked a little SMALLER from outside. So no big risk that you will get an uncomfortably big...

Lengthwise both versions appear exactly the same. I had to size up for v1 and wouldn‘t size down in v2 for fear of big toe touching the front. V2 feels definitely more roomy though. I‘m actually not so sure if I like this. I did some fast runs in them and my feet didn‘t feel as securely locked...

That‘s reassuring, and today I‘m actually positive again that I can do it, if I only return to the high-intensity training that helped me to cut off these minutes last year. During lockdown I went on time trials on my different home courses, where I always tried to top my former best, without...

    Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite 2017

The shoes came, the time didn‘t. My masterplan of losing some weight coupled with 3 weeks of easy mountain trail runs for regeneration really didn‘t lead to anything. So I guess back to the pains of tempo training… I managed to go from about 44 to 41 minutes within a couple of months. But trying...

Me too. Happen to have scheduled my own personal breaking40 challenge for tomorrow and want to use them straight away. Press your thumbs guys! Just have that feeling that I‘ll be coming in at 40:25 😅

It doesn‘t just feel like a VFN without a carbon plate, because it differs in more respects than that. In a very positive sense I say the Invincibles come without surprises: you know how ZoomX feels + you see this massive chunk of ZoomX and you know it‘s without a plate + you see the width of...

Same here. Probably best comfy run shoe I‘ve ever had. Only, on first run I got plantar ache after about a mile already. Loosening up the laces just a bit helped immediately. Must say I‘m flat-footed however, so some little issues here and there are just a normal thing for me.

I like the AF for being this racing couch - fun and comfy at different speeds, for practising forefoot running in particular, enjoying the feel of the airpods etc. However, lockdown and secure fit is really bad in my eyes, and I need that with a racing shoe. As the Next%2 incorporates some...

This little orange patch is certainly odd, but I wouldn‘t call it misaligned. What‘s misaligned though is the orange swoosh on the outsole. It doesn‘t fit the punched swoosh like it normally does but is kind of aslant. Some weird little details... Speaking of details : serrated laces, same as...

    Nike Zoom Vaporfly Elite 2017

Just taking some strides at home, Next%2 definitely feel a little different, I would say BETTER, than v1. Guess that‘s because the new upper is much more flexible and doesn‘t „fold“ noticeably when transitioning from heel to toe. Shoe generally feels a little more flexible though sole unit...

N%2 arrived today. Indeed have this sharpie writing on the midsole. Unsurprisingly though, each pair some seems to come with the same number... Must say that in real they don‘t look quite as great as in the images. Esp. in white the new flyknit reminds me of a fly screen or sth. Looks a little...
