I work for Footlocker and they are NOT franchised, dont know who gave you your info but that is not the case...Some stores allow the discount and some dont based on manager. Footlocker excludes certain items from ANY type of discount, but it isnt very often that they do it.

^ What he said, certain releases are excluded from any type of discount (Military, VIP, Employee) but since Ive been here most releases are a ok with Military but cant exceed a certain percentage of the shoes sold. Alot of times it IS manager discretion though, the manager might be the one...

Dont give up, Mine went to a black screen and then a FTL white screen on 7 seperate occasions, I just refresh and JUST got through order placed.
