The only reason the Bulls are even being mentioned in this topic is because of Jordan. But you cannot possibly have them as one of the greatest franchises inhistory. When MJ left, they became irrelevant. Hell, even people from Chicago will never put them over the Cubs and the Bears.
Lakers...
Man, back when the Kings were really terrible the only guy I remember besides Mitch Richmond was Funderburke. He went from being a semi-starter by default toultimate bench warmer when Webber, Peja, and them took over.
Who was that one annoying guy they had that would always cheer from the bench...
And also to bring back the feel of the Great Western Forum which also had dimmed lights.
I remember that Slam issue. I was trying to look for that cover to post up instead of that pic of the jersey, but I couldn't find it. You wouldn'thappen to have it would you?
I remember going to games...
To answer your first question, the answer is pretty simple. Phil coached two of the most popular and most globally marketable teams in NBA history. Withall the championships they won and their star power (i.e. Jordan and Kobe), of course the Lakers and Bulls would be crazy not to try and cash in...
Pig Miller is the ultimate scrub player. He was with the Lakers for a couple of seasons and that's how I know about him. When I'd watch Laker gamesand the cameras show Del Harris yelling from the bench, Pig Miller will always be sitting down behind him with the laziest, sleepy expression on his face
Rules:
- NO 6th Man of the Year winners, no rookies with potential, no former All-Stars or aging stars
- 90's to present era
- just pure scrub players that only see or saw significant playing time in the summer leagues, practice, garbage time, or your local 24 Hour Fitness pickup game

Some "crazy news" - pun intended. The Lakers were interested in Artest earlier this season, but now, it looks like there is some liking on both sides. From today's SacBee…
ABC is just as annoying when they have no-name actresses from "Dirty Sexy Money" or some other crap shows they have promote the fact that ABC is"Home of the NBA Finals".
And haven't you noticed the sarcasm in the voices of Mike Fratello and Reggie Miller every time they have to say "Very...
I just wish Long Beach Poly starts to become a powerhouse again. Don't get me wrong, they have Juniors that can probably play in college NOW, but latelythey've just been outplayed by Mission Viejo and Mater Dei. They won the CIF last year, but they weren't good enough to be picked to go to...
I just remember watching the CIF State Title games the past season where D1, D2, and D3 schools from north and south played each other. Out of all thematchups, only one Nor Cal team won and it was De La Salle by 3 points (over my high school btw ). Is the talent gap that wide?
Oh and speaking...
Played high school football in Corona Centennial down in SoCal (4 CIF titles baby). I'm a big fan of the sport.
To the Nor Cal heads, is there any other power up there besides Concord De La Salle? It's actually a valid question.
