^Yes it is a rubber sole.  It is exactly what I was looking for though, a casual oxford because I only want to wear them with jeans. The branding is the only thing I don't like about them, but outside of that I love the shoe.

What do you guys think of these with jeans?

Yea, they're both short sleeve. They had a table with nothing but short sleeve button-up oxfords.  Probably about 10 different colors and patterns   

^It's funny that those are the colors you're looking for, because when I went shopping during the spring I stopped in the Polo outlet and got those same two colors for $40 each, plus I had a 20% off coupon.. I always get compliments on them.   

^no, I try not to pay retail for any of my shoes when I know it's just going to be on sale the following season.  I got them from the Barneys sale.  They only had a 10.5 left when I got mine, but they didn't have the brown ones.  I would like to grab the brown ones too.

Been needing to grab a new pair of black oxfords for the last couple months now.

Just because they were super popular doesn't mean that they looked good.  Skin tight jeans are popular, but they definitely don't look good.  I'm not bashing  anyone who likes them, I personally just don't like them, and it's ok for me to not like something that someone else likes, and ok for...

   Funny, because the "only Guccis you'd be caught in" look like garbage to me.  That just goes to show you everyone has their own opinion. Oh well

Should I go get white shoe strings for them, or keep the red in?
