DeAndre Jordan is already better than Tyson Chandler. Unless you mean in terms of the lobs that he's going to throw him.

Too lazy to go through the thread. How'd you feel about the trade?
I would rather be looking forward to a deep playoff run with Chris, West, Chandler and a good wing that they got somewhere along the way instead of James Posey, Morris Peterson, Julian Wright, etc... But I love rebuilding, and it is the right approach/deal for that.
I always wondered how I would feel when this day came. I have no reason to still like the Hornets. No Bird, no J.R., no Bass, no Tys, no Thornton, no D., no Chris, hate Ariza, am completely indifferent on everyone else and I'm not even much of a Gordon guy. But I found myself caring about who they got back for Chris and !+%*, so here we are. I think maybe I just don't want to be without a favorite team, and I already committed the time to them. I just want to think about what two lottery picks will be playing with Gordon next season.

If DeAndre Jordan isn't better than Tyson Chandler, than he's equal to him. They both do the same damn thing. But with Jordan I've actually seen him get the ball in the post, make an effect move and throw down on somebody. I can't really ever recall Chandler making a post move. All his points come off moving without the ball towards the basket and finishing off a pass from CP or Kidd, or throwing down a put-back. I think Chandler is going to be awesome for the Knicks so don't think I'm trying to put him down. But DeAndre has shown flashes of doing things that only Dwight can do in the NBA. Not saying that he'll ever be on that level.

Cop out? So you claim that Jordan for Tyson still gets Dallas a title last year?Originally Posted by Buc Em

I'm not defending DJ in this argument at all but I'm curious. Legitimate question...Originally Posted by ex carrabba fan

You sounding really elementary right now bro. Basketball is a lot more than numbers, nobody's putting Tyson on a pedestal, it's more people saying DeAndre Jordan isn't that exceptional of a player... yet.
He was a huge part of NO's teams with CP3/WestOriginally Posted by marath0n

Those new Clippers jerseys are crisp. New era, new players, new fans
Same Clippers
I know you're hurting still. It'll be ok.
Hurting? If I mention the complete franchise history of both, then I'm a cocky Lakers fan who always brings up rings. *shrugs*
If I mention getting to the second round of the playoffs last season, and the Clippers didn't make the playoffs, then the respons is "Last season has nothing to do with this season." *shrugs*
If I mention how the Lakers will still finish ahead of the Clippers this season, then I'm living in denial, since the opinion of so many prisoners of the moment is that LA now belongs to the Clippers. () *shrugs*
But no, not hurt.I get excited over championships; Clipper fans get excited over finally getting an elite talent.
Spoiler [+]now someone quote me and post a picture of salt, or call me a hater. Both would be great.
