☆☆ 2012 NBA Finals ☆☆ The King has been crowned; Heat win 2012 NBA Finals! Bron Finals MVP.

So you're asking me whether 22 year old Jordan would have been able to stand in 28 year old Chandler's role and help the Mavs win a title last year? I don't know, but when Chandler was that age he was on a Bulls squad that was winning 20-30 games a year, and he personally was averaging close to the league lead in fouls per game. The Bulls then traded him to the Hornets. Then the Hornets tried to trade him to the Thunder. Then they finally traded him to the Bobcats. Then the Bobcats traded him to the Mavericks. Then the Mavericks didn't feel the need to pay him. If he was THAT much better than Jordan, than don't you think atleast ONE of these teams would have made it a priority to keep him in their long term plans like the Clippers have done for DeAndre?

Then what are we talking about then? You're saying Jordan is a better player than Tyson right now? Alright. So yes, rewind it back months ago to the playoffs, which wasn't ages ago and tell me if Jordan would have been able to anchor that defense to a title. You're telling me 6 months of improvement in the summer made DeAdnre Jordan better than Chandler?

As I said, Jordan is on that Tyson Chandler path. Play for a bunch of losers, get bloated contracts for potential, and then eventually become a defensive anchor. Right now Jordan is pretty much exactly what Chandler was when he was younger.

Lob City is going to be the most marketed phrase throughout this NBA season. I can already feel it. Commercials, merchandise, advertisements.
If i was Blake I would try to trademark it asap.

i concur. But DeAndre will have a break out season though

So when did it become the cool thing for Knicks fans to say "because he's a Knick now"? Who's been hating on anyone on that team other than saying that two players that have the exact same strengths and weaknesses being your two best players probably isn't the best thing to have. Even with saying that, pretty much everybody projected the Knicks to finish in the top 4 in the East this year in their predictions. What more do you want?

It's been like that for ages we just acknowledge it on here and in the media. Save all that when did we start doing that bs. I remember when our players weren't shh and it'd be a bad trade if DEN took them for Melo. Then right after, those same players are being called potential all stars that make the Nuggets better than they were when they had Melo. Got dudes claiming Chris Bosh is better than Amar'e. Now Blake is after 1 season. So you saying some stupid shh like DeAndre is better than Tyson now isn't really a surprise.

one of my friends said javale mcgee is better than chandler i was dumbfounded to say the least

ummmm sorry but i agree with most of this

i mean chandler wins a ring and now he is a good center? he is avg at best and its a dozen centers in the NBA that do what he does

Name them.

Cuz obviously if this is the case not only did we grossly overpay him for something so many other centers do but we didn't even bother to pursue these other guys.

Although Buc Em is bring a decent argument to the table, he's still very wrong.

They're getting 2 Top 7 picks.

Yo this squad isn't even that bad. They could sneak into 8th or 7th wit' that starting five.

What a lot of you guys are failing to realize is that Tyson was bought into NY for defense and rebounding..He was on the Mavericks for defense and rebounding..They did not need him to score on the Mavericks because they have one of the best scorers in the league (Dirk) and they had tons of role players that could score as well (Marion, JJ, Terry, etc) He's on the Knicks because the Knicks have 2 players that ranked in the top 6 in scoring..They did not need a dude to come in and drop 15-20ppg.

In terms of rebounding and defense, Tyson is one of the best in the league. Tyson ranked 5th in rebounding among NBA centers last season. Tyson might not be one of the top centers in the league, but if you're combining defensive ability AND rebounding, then he's definitely up there. If you're an NBA GM, you sign players based on how they fit with the other pieces on your team, not based on how many alley-oops they can catch or look at their PER stats..That's irrelevant

IMO, Tyson's maturity is his advantage against DeAndre, but this season can change for the young guy especially with CP3 and Mr.Big Shot on the Clips, and I don't agree of Javale being better than Tyson and DJ. If he refines his game ala Tim Duncan, then he's gonna be a problem in the league. #LobCity #GilasPilipinas

Javale & DeAndre are both raw and have no skills.

They can only catch alley-oops and slam on offense.

On defense they are above average shot blockers, and that's it.

You guys celebratin like we done for, naw, we just pausin.  We'll be in it before you know it, and you're bitter sadness can return full bore.  Trust me on that.  We aren't the Spurs, we aren't going to fade back off into nothingness for a couple decades, not in our nature.
