. Hell...they could have traded the #1 and got a player or two + pick that both would have been better than everyone currently on their roster.
How could you have watched this game, and conclude Knight > Irving?
I agree Thompson is a big ? , and was risky, but by all means let them get some experience.

I said the same thing when the two of them were in college and got roasted on here for it. You're the same dudes that call players bums after watching them play charity all-star games, let alone their first NBA game while they were guarding eachother. I'm not trying to hate on Kyrie though cause I think he'll be a good player, but Tristian Thompson? Oh no, that dude is trash. That's more the reason why I'm saying they should have gone with D-Will and Knight.

Dude. NOBODY cares that Tyson's your cousin. We really, really don't.

What??
I see what you're saying about D-Will, but let's judge it after the season.

Pargo played very well tonight. If he doesn't have Vasquez spot at the start of the season, he will have it by midseason.
Reminded me of Lowry to some extent. Seems like a Hollins guy. Once Conley comes out, you don't lose none of the speed when he comes in.

Conley, Marc, Sam or Arthur didn't play tonight. I know Sam, Arthur and Marc had minor injuries. Conley probably did too or was just resting.

Pargo: 15pts, 7asts, 0 turnovers

I said as soon as they drafted him Thompson was a poor pick, should have gotten Jonas or dealt the pick because Thompson was a reach there.

I'll make jokes but I won't seriously judge him for awhile, I'm just shocked if he's anything more than an average rotation player.

D-League for the time being probably. He looked really nervous tonight. Airballed a 3, over shot a runner in the paint, etc. He just needs time to develop, but I don't think there's no spot for him on a team thats looking to make some noise this year. He's not taking Pargo or Vasquez spot. Hollins tried playing him at PG and that didn't work. Henry coming back in a month won't make it any better.

sounds ALOT like Tyson Chandler to me
I'm still waiting for you to name those dozen other centers in the league that allegedly do the same things Tyson does or better since to you he's average.

Greg's probably going to be 15 & 10 this year at age 21 (& given he was 14 & 10 post-AS break last year, that might be underselling him). Doesn't seem like he's totally masquerading as a C in a PF's body now, actually managed to put on good weight. Going to be a very wealthy man eventually.

That Piston's team is probably in line for a Top 3 pick, though. they really suck.

Knight looked better than Irving to me. I'm not a college guy so this was the first time I seen both of them play. Kyrie looked lost at times. I like Knight, his penetrate and dish game is on point, Dumars should take the offer for Stuckey off the table.

Yep wholeheartedly agree. I feel like he's not so shy that he won't bang in the paint, he's athletic without being wild, and he works in the paint. That makes paychecks.

Speaking of the Pistons, what's the status on Chauncey Billups 2.0 aka Rodney Stuckey? I read the other day HE rejected a $40 million offer from the Pistons.

Why the Pistons would even reconsider signing him is beyond me. I heard that both sides are close to making an agreement.

The Grizzlies started Brian Skinner tonight. Brian Skinner....

How did OJ manage 7 turnovers? Hornets only had 11.

I like Greg he seems kind like a poor mans Pau Gasol, in fact if everything breaks right and he reaches his potential and figures out how to like play defense and block shots he could straight up be Pau Gasol.

Is Pargo a lock to make the team?

I almost hope he gets cut because there's probably a 96% chance the Hornets would sign him. They don't even have a second point right now, and they'll obviously see him up close in both preseason games.

He got a 2yr/$2mil guaranteed deal. I think Wallace and Hollins really like him, so I think he's here to stay. Not sure if the 2nd year is a team option or not.
