Nah chill, Pau was the the Pau you see today the minute he stepped foot into the NBA.

That's a bit of a stretch IMO, only because Greg will never have the offensive game that Pau has, yet Greg has the potential to be a much better defender.

Other than that, and the fact that Greg is a better athlete, sure.

Why the Pistons would even reconsider signing him is beyond me.

it shocks u? they gave charlie villanueva 35 mill

Why have we heard nothing about Nick Young? What is his agent waiting for?

Thompson looked pretty good on anything but offense.
Honestly? I wasn't expecting what we saw from him. But his ceiling is 15 pts and 11 boards with stout D,
Irving? he looked like they are gone ask him to score 20 a night as a rookie. They have NO talent on the wing. They have a bunch of guys who could develop and be good on playoff type teams, but no game changer.
Also Irving looked very out of shape, and I already know he has the Chris Paul body type too.

Brandon Knight was the best guard tonight outside of Rose though. Had a nice pace, good decisions. The only posession I had an issue with was the one in transition late where he pulled the ball out and shot a 3.
He would have been better off shooting the open mid range jumper he had.

Monroe is not a better athlete than Pau.

Now that I watch it again it sounds like he says "Come here ho" at like the 15 sec mark

No just the Sixers, Clippers, Grizzlies, Pacers and T-wolves. And Bobcats so the games are entertaining when I go to Charlotte.

So you basically root for every up and coming team so that when they're good, you can say you were down from the start?

Nice strategy

So I like that the Timberwolves are being described as up-and-coming.

Kev ditch the Hornets, sign-ups free.

Monroe is not a better athlete than Pau.
Greg is not a better athlete than Pau, at best he is an AVERAGE athlete, dude had like a 29" vertical, nothing about Greg is explosive, he's smooth and coordinated for his size much like Pau.

and what on earth gives Monroe the potential to be a better defender? He was never considered that in college, in fact was considered kind of soft, he;s the same size as Pau prett much, his arms are just as long and Pau is a much better shot blocker.

In college he was a 6'11 smooth, offensively skilled big man, with excellent passing vision and basketball IQ, who does that sound like to you?  I'm not saying it's likely he will become Pau Gasol that dude is a hall of famer, I'm just saying they share the same skill set, size and level of athleticism other than that they are not similar at all.

I'm playin I've always been a Sixers fan, you must be thinking about somebody else. But I do really wanna see those other teams play this year.

I'm a Bucs, Sixers, Mariners, Kentucky Wildcats basketball and Anaheim Ducks fan. So there you go weird people that I don't know. Write that down in your journal somewhere.

Green to have heart surgery; will miss season

Jeff Green will have surgery to repair his aorta and will miss the season.

The 25-year-old is expected to make a full recovery.

The medical issue arose when Green was taking a physical last week. He said the problem was found when he took a stress test.

Since then, he has seen a number of specialists, the last of which was in Cleveland at the Cleveland Clinic yesterday.

Because Green could not pass the physical, the free agent contract he signed with the Celtics will be voided.

I hope Green recovers.

Celtics' rotation.

Edit:

Stuckey and the Pistons agree to a three year-$25 million contract.
