☆☆ 2012 NBA Finals ☆☆ The King has been crowned; Heat win 2012 NBA Finals! Bron Finals MVP.

Have a feeling the Heat is going to destroy teams in the regular season. Bulls/OKC still my Finals pick though

He called iso plays for himself in the first preseason game.

That Nate buyout took place, or had been discussed as being done, weeks ago. He was actually great here. He never complained about not getting any playing time, was always the most jubilant cheerleader on the sidelines, first to run out on the court and congratulate the guys, said all the right things, and everyone liked him.

Hopefully the change in how to implement the rules by the refs will result in less wins by the Thunder and Heat. Those two teams went deep in the playoffs by getting 40% of their points from the line

May just has to be put in the right situation. He can bee a spark plug off the bench.

He's too talented to be warming the bench.

So I hear Paul pierce probably out against the Knicks

He full of +++#. You know he ain't missing that game

I was at the pre season Knicks game on Wednesday. I forgot how annoying the NBA is when it come to the refs. It's honestly hard to watch. Turning the league into a free throw shooting contest is a bad idea. I don't know if it's just because I haven't seen a game in so long but games need to be more fluid.

I am still shocked that the lakers deal was nixed. Huge precedent set. Gonna be a good year but this league needs a regime change. That was so poorly handled. Stern needs to go

I think it's disgusting that they are pretty much an automatic lock to make the Finals and I can see them losing in the 2nd round if the right matchup occurs. I guess we will have to find out.

i wouldn't say it's a lock.. also wouldn't say OKC got killed by dallas, considering the 4 games they won were by scores of 9-5-7-4

but just looking at the playoff teams from last year.. out of the top 4 teams i dont think LA and to a lesser extent dallas will be better than they were last year.. spurs traded hill, but i expect the accelerated season to really take a toll on them

so hence, like i said before, i think the west comes down to OKC and memphis (the 2 teams that have youth and continuity.. and were in the final 4).. and i think the clippers have a chance to really contend, since i dont think it will be difficult for the new guys to fit in there

and let's remember 4 of the thunders' most important players are under 24 years old (KD and russ are both 23 AND harden and ibaka are both 22)

plus perkins can actually move AND dunk (i have no clue if this true, but i can't even remember dude dunking once last year since the trade)

The Arthur injury really hurts Memphis' chances this season. Maybe I'm overestimating his importance but he was really good last year. Cunningham should do a serviceable job though.

Mavs definitely didn't "kill" the Thunder. That was an extremely tight series, had the Mavericks missed 1-3 of the big shots they made in each of those 4 wins, Thunder could have easily won in 5. It doesn't really matter if they would've beaten the Lakers last season, it is the fact that the West just got weaker, while an OKC team that improves every season and is still young, will surely get better.

Interesting move letting House go.

With Norris Cole playing well in the preseason I guess he became expendable.

I agree, while you could say a 5 game series looks like dominance, but the Thunder held a late lead in each of those games. They just kept finding ways to blow them, attribute it to youth or whatever, but it wasn't like they were just getting dominated. Hell, call travel on Jason Kidd on that corner 3, give Westbrook that over the back call on Chandler on that offensive board that squeaked out to Dirk who then hit a 3, different bounce or call here and there, you never know. But I don't like to waste too much time on hypotheticals. They were the better team, better coach, deserve that title.

I don't like how much everyone is picking us to win it all this yr. It's less fun rooting for the favorite.

I've watched this Open Court so many times, great chemistry between that whole panel. Hell, I would buy it on dvd if they released it, uncut with behind the scenes action though.
