No faith in my Celts this year, i see
I don't really like Oklahoma's chances. Their problem is not enough scoring.
Usually the scoring comes from Durand & Russ. and sometimes Harden provides a big number of points.
I can't see them gettin' past the WCF.

Somewhat agree, that's why I am mad we didn't bolster our bench with any of these amnesty guys and guys who seem to have been traded for nothing. You can pencil in 30 for KD, 22 for Russ, and maybe 17 for James this year regardless of if he starts or not, but after that then what? I wanted one more guy who you can just hand the ball and say, "go create a bucket for yourself or a teammate." If Cook shoots 43% from 3 again, and Ibaka/Nick continue to knock down face up midrange jumpers, and Perk just cleans up I guess we can be fine though. Outfastbreaking and out-fting teams helps though

Not that stupid they have a lot of Guards who can play point (Conley, Mayo, Selby) and they don't have a backup for Gay in case something happens. Trade is pretty much even they went 2 spots away from each other in the '10 draft, Greivis is nothing special, neither is Pondexter two backups for each team.

I knew Pargo would end up being the backup and there just wasn't enough room for Vasquez. They wasn't going to trade away Selby. The things I will miss about Vasquez will probably be the same things Pargo brings + more. I expect another move to be made soon to bring in a backup 5. More than likely it'll be Henry or Sam.
The thing I hate most about this move is that Memphis has nothing to show for the past four drafts. OJ may be on his way out, not a sure thing that DA gets re-signed, (09) Carroll sucked, Thabeet sucked more, Sam may not be on the team long-term, ('10) Henry has yet to show much and Vasquez traded.
That's 7 guys. Three were already traded, at least one more will get traded before the deadline, and the others might end up leaving via free agency.
I guess this is why people say our front office is stupid.

The other thing I noticed is that all of the Griz additions -- Pondexter, DC, Pargo, and Selby -- seem to be highly athletic, with the possible exception of DC, who is just a little above average, and quick at their respective positions. Athleticism and speed are important qualities fir the kind of defense Hollins wants to run. In the meantime, gone from last year's team are 3 average or below athletes with little quickness -- Battier, GV, and Powe.

Pondexter did pretty good in his 2 preseason games against Memphis.
