Caron Butler To Sign With Clippers For $24M Over Three Seasons
Dec 08, 2011 3:38 PM EST

Caron Butler has agreed to terms with the Clippers on a three-year deal worth $24 million.

The Clippers had been looking to upgrade their small forward position.

Tayshaun Prince was initially the primary target of the Clippers, but he agreed to stay with the Pistons earlier in the day.

damn 8 million for an injury prone dude?
somewhere japanair is crying....

Go get that money Caron.

Loved the guy but I knew he wouldn't be back.

Still holding out hope for Tyson though.

I swear like 5 pages ago Caron didn't see himself not in a Bulls uni. I don't see how they get Nene with Noah still there. Nene is an improvement in many areas but he's not getting any younger. Plus yall still need to address your sg situation. Getting rid of Boozer and moving Noah to the 4 would be a good experiment though.

Advanced stats aren't can't be used as tangible proof of player a>player B...There are misnomer's all the time.  This isn't baseball that is a singular sport masquerading as team event, advanced stats in basketball are helpful but hardly should be relied on to paint the whole story.

According to player effiency rating, LeBron might be the best player of all-time right? Do you believe that chester?

Player effiency rating rates Amar'e as the 24th most effiency player of all-time ahead of the likes of Moses Malone and John Stockton.  Advanced stats in basketball are very flawed and people who rely on it to compose their whole arguments like OKB often do are just a dumb as people who completely disregard advacned stats.  Kevin Love could be more effieicnety than Amar'e last year but in a 7 game series do you really believe he could out play him.  Do you belilived K. Love could go out and score 30 points on a night to night basis on some of the best defenders of the game not some scrubs in the regular season.

I don't believe LeBron is the best player of all time, but could he wind up being the most efficient player of all time? I don't see why not, if he stays on the same path.

Add a few rings, then maybe we can talk GOAT status.
