That's a dope story, but I never said he was Jimi Hendrix. Future likes to refer to himself as Future Hendrix, as others have already posted. It sounds cool/funny to me, so I refer to him as either that or Future Vandross. Nothing less; nothing more. Sorry if it offends you.

What story? That was a a quote said by Senator Lloyd Bentsen to Senator Dan Quayle during the 1988 US Vice-Presidential debate. It doesn't offend me, it's just that I'm a purist and I don't respect a fly by night auto-tune pseudo rapper ruining the names of real artist like Luther Vandross and Jimi Hendrix. If we don't clarify, kids growing up today won't know the difference.
