I don't understand his attitude.
Even outside of football...I had a boss one time who was always in a sour mood, always criticizing staff members, and always telling us we weren't good enough to work at the company. His attitude made me think "@#$@ trying hard; what's the point if I'm going to get criticized anyway?" Eventually all 6 of us quit, and he got fired afterwards.
At the end of the day, football is still a job, so as a manager he needs to lead and motivate rather than being the miserable little @#$@ he is.
Some of the ridiculous mistakes these United players are making are probably mental errors caused by the situation with the manager.
