Rom missing that goal was brutal.. I am currently at a conference in Tempe so I only got to see the first half, but I thought we looked very positive. Completely different than the last game. Obviously, went to hell in 2nd looking at that scoreline. I can see the board's apprehension to sign another attacking player but it was painfully obvious going into the summer our back line needed to be addressed.

There is most likely other people responsible for bringing in these deals, analyzing them, & getting them done. You look at all the bussiness posts about United & there is nothing noting his accomplishments. United fans have been asking for a DOF for some time now. I think you guys are confusing their excitement about new players as their acceptance of Woodward in that role.

Kimchi Papi I think the truth lies somewhere in between. While I think you might be right about it being relatively easy to attract sponsorships, he has done a great job getting true market value out of these companies. His ability to get top dollars off the field for a team that has looked poor at best on is nothing to turn your nose up at. He's also been able to enter untraditional markets, we have an official tractor and noodle sponsorship for christ sakes
