Would've preferred Martinez using this opportunity to give Kabasele a run in the squad. Boyata did a good job in the role he was given at the WC but I didn't really understand how he was picked over Kabasele in the first place.

@ the mancini hire & the Azzurri... They let Poland score... Has anyone watched a mancini coached team in the last several years? They've played so terribly & to think he got hired to fix the team. Lort have mercy.

Poland was one of the worst, possibly the worst performing teams in the WC this summer. I can't remember a more boring NT I've watched in recent years & the Azzurri let them score first.
mancini has been screaming at balo pretty much the entire first half. Will be surprised if he plays in the 2nd. You guys romanticize him a great deal but he's absolute bunz. He's gotten kinda Shaq/Chris Webber doughy lookin' too.

I’m enjoying it. Young team, playing against one of the best teams on the planet and holding their own
Yeah they’re down 2 goals but for the most part they’re looking decent. Could do some damage on set pieces against lesser opponents and I like the ball movement and effort in attack
Excited to watch the USMNT again (at least with some hope)

dont get me wrong, they playing good vs brazil. I think first goal was crucial mistake from defender to let firmino loose and penalty was suspect. Would love to see more strikes to goal from usa. But they played the dead ball well. Execution was key on this game to get that W but im hopeful with this young squad. Deff more fire power in their hearts than the squad that lost vs trini

Really like their chemistry. I really wish we had a playmaker who was great with the ball at his feet. Someone who could beat defenders going forward. That was the biggest difference between us and Brazil (besides the obvious contrast in quality players). If we had someone with the mindset like Douglas Costa or Willian who likes to make forward runs and cross the ball in, this young squad could be really fun to watch against more evenly matched teams
I really liked our threat on set pieces as well
Future is looking bright.

We need at least 2, someone to pair with him or rotate. We aren’t a threat in 1v1 situations.
