Yea he had that really bad injury during the World Cup think it was in training or something. He's been in rehab and trying to get game fit since.
Aaahh, didn't know about the injury...thought he got dropped and went further down the depth chart

My friend hit this the other day :smh: 100 to win 4000

We obsess a lot over transfer fees in football, but Alexis has to have one of the worst contracts in Europe.

I remember wanting Real to jump on that expiring deal bargain. I’ll take credit for when my armchair management is on point, but I’m glad we were never linked to that disaster.

He had that year when he went off and had like 30 goals and 20 assists.. been trash ever since :pimp: :pimp:

I think a lot of Alexis’ problems are due to being to being on the wrong team. He’s chasing balls to far back & then is peter’d out in the attack. You can see he’s clearly working hard & the effort is there.

I get he was chasing a big *** check but he chose the wrong club.

Edit - That was such a English/Prem finish by that Brighton player. How on earth did you good that shot. :smh: Someone needs to roll up a good piece of newspaper & beat that dude in the head for missing that. If I were manager, I’d make him run 100 laps around the pitch on the next training day.

I’d be happy with that lineup if Marcelo were in, but he’s not getting any younger and needs to be rotated. Maybe a late sub will make us less prone to those lapses where he leaves his flank wide open and we concede a goal.

With Isco, Benz, Asensio, Ceballos, and Modric this lineup has the capability to play some pretty football though. I think as long as the match is at least tied around the 65th, the introduction of Bale and Marcelo will see us through.

Happy Casemiro is starting though, gotta show respect to Espanyol.

Espanyol letting a good chance blow by.

Can't wait for FIFA 19 so I can get a career mode started, might start with them :lol

Lack of talent isn't killing Espanyol right now, it's weak decisions in the final third

Thank god we got Tommy Lemar, dude saved us today vs getafe. We need to bench Saul and Koke for now and run Lemar and Vitolo on the wings. The ball movement on the second goal was sooo clean

I wish Barca had seriously run at Lemar. :frown::rolleyes

If true, I don’t understand the club’s interest in Nicolas Pepe. Hea a talented player but doesn’t contribute much defensively & a bit soft. He’s too much a finesse player for my tastes.

Barca doesn’t need a midfield player on the wing. They needs to address the pivot & a left back first & foremost.

RM needs to put this away

Mariano wide open, pass it to him

A hard 3 points earned, we usually concede and drop in a match like this
Midfield withered away, Llorente came and showed that he can play, attack was very meh, If Espanyol adds in the winter then can end up in Europe.
