The best reporter for city news today said the biggest barrier to this extremely unlikely situation in the first place is Pep himself. Pep believes Messi should stay with Barcelona because of what he means to their club. Messi is not leaving Barcelona he never will. Also said the club acknowledges the situation is highly unlikely and isn't anything more than "monitoring" which no **** everyone is but that doesn't mean much.

I can't wait for Messi to just sign a new contract again and these stories to be over

City have a lot more things to worry about, a whole list of issues.

Getting themselves tangled in this Messi drama is the last thing they need.

We aren’t really more involved than anyone else tbh. Like you said the story is monitoring and every club with the means is monitoring this situation. It’s just easier to write it as if we are more involved because of the former Barca staff and pep. But at the end of the day nothing more than monitoring like everyone else

It seems like the Belgian Pro League and Eredivisie are really pursuing a merged league. I actually quite like the idea. There’s a historic rivalry between Belgium and the Netherlands in general so clubs from both countries facing eachother sounds exciting.

That is a cool idea, you already know how I feel about Belguim splitting up

Do you think Basel and Anderlecht are ready to give up their CL spots tho?

Messi's people negotiating the ability to leave on a free is genius

Gives him an enormous amount of power, puts so much pressure on the board.

Reminds me of LeBron signing those 1 year contracts with the Cavs for like 4 years straight.

POW POW, just a couple of old guys...

On some real ****, someone from B/R Football comes in here and steals our content.

Bale leaves early every match he's not playing in and has been become completely disengaged on the pitch again, but I forgot he's not allowed to be criticized
