Summer 2019 the only player we brought in that was a definite starter was Hazard. Anyone who says they thought Ferland Mendy would be an immediate difference maker is lying. The more popular sentiment was why get him when Marcelo and Reguilon were already there.
The other guys were two 21-year olds and a teenager for the future. These were viewed more as steps toward phasing out the old guard, and less as players to bolster the squad. And for the most part that’s exactly what they have been.
If any of you thought Hazard, Mendy, and young guys on the bench would make up for losing CR7 and everyone looking past their prime the prior season then you can pull out the receipts. Yes investments were made but everyone thought it would be as part of a rebuild process.

I do have a tendency to confuse Bruge, Brussels, and Basel all the time tho.
KAA Gent, Club Brugge, Anderlecht and Standard Liège all support it.
I think many people in both countries would see a llot of those matches as a rivalry between our two countries rather than just 2 clubs. I'd certainly see it that way, it's why I look forward to it if it does end up happening. We'll support eachother in international competitions if either of us is knocked out but when we're competing against eachother in any circumstance there's a strong sense of competitive rivalry.

This would be dope if we can get this done. Apparently the source is a tier 1 Ajax source. Would love to see us developing 2 Americans at the club. Reports are that Chris Richards has been coming along nicely with Bayern II and might be ready for the first team next season. All we'd need is 1 more guy to have an all north american back line

Apparently Rennes president was fired over not informing ownership he had talks with RM over Camavinga last summer. I don’t really get how as president of a selling club you don’t inform your owner about Real Madrid negotiating with you over what’ll be your record transfer. If you apply that analogy to non-sports life it puts into perspective how bad of a look that is for him.
Either way the more links we have to being serious about Camavinga the happier I am. Flo trying to play FIFA career mode with the prospects.
