my boy in paris is friends with a lot of footballers and I asked him this after Tanguy Nianzou refused to resign with PSG and came to Bayern. he said most of them hate being in paris/france in general when they're pros because their families and friends are such heavy leeches and a lot of them are involved in gangs so stuff can get really weird for them off the field. he said most of them prefer to get up out of france as soon as they can to go abroad so that they can avoid a lot of the drama

Yea, you hear these things when it comes to the kids who grew up in the Paris suburbs. It could definitely be some of that, staying home isn’t the greatest choice sometimes. It’s good to get away and try something different (hell I did It).

I think it’s also Camavinga/his people saw that Kroos and Modric won’t have much time left and he could be the future of that RM midfield soon. I thought it was a great move for Camavinga’s future. Don’t blame him one bit.

He’s also another CR7 disciple so I’m sure he was a RM fan growing up - so it could be a mix of all these things. Either way I hope he succeeds.

I mean this gamble could backfire and you could have players leaving for less. The players that the club is planning to sell aren’t that high of value anyway, so. Minus some young players that we are willing to see. Also, applying the same thought, players that the club plan to go after will have higher value and cost more. But that’s the game.
