Random observation: The sensationalism in football is amazing. Just two weeks ago, everybody was clamoring for LVG to be sacked, Man U was finished and Mourinho needed to be brought in ASAP. Now after two wins against minnows (granted, one of them beat them initially), and us (

), LVG is the right man for the job, and what really irks me, Arsenal is now out of the title race. Yes, we lost to a struggling United team when we needed to win to keep up with Leicester and Spurs. However, all this in the media talmbout we're finished is absolutely ridiculous. Notch two wins by Saturday, we're more than likely 3-5 points back from first. An article I read said that we once had an 8 point lead in mid-March (Was it in 2012?, I wasn't following footy back then), only to implode and finish 12 points off of first. That goes to show you that the points difference doesn't really matter until about 8 games to go, and even then, anything is possible. I'm just upset at this ******** that we're through. I swear only in football is sensationalism this prevalent, with the NBA a distant second.

I agree with your sensationalism point but hold up there :lol,I'm still hoping that there's gonna be a "mutual consent" deal announced at the end of the season seeing LVG off into retirement and bringing in Mou. I'll feel the same even if he does get a top 4 finish somehow.

The defeatist Gunner talk is only a product of the same stuff happening seriously every year it feels :lol

Sensationalism in the NFL is worse than the NBA. When the Pats started the 2014-15 season 2-2, a big slice of the media was questioning whether he was done. They went on to win the Super Bowl and by February he was the GOAT.

Dear Lord, no. I pray he's gone by the summer.

Incredible :x

Barcelona have conceded 1 goal from (indirect) set pieces in their 46 games this season #fcblive (Papadopoulos, Leverkusen) [via sport]

They don't make many mistakes at all.

I'm starting to think that we might be seeing an even better and more dominant side than even Peps best squads in 2009 and 2011...

Gotta admit, the Soccer Jersey thread makes me chuckle, seeing all the people copping Leicester shirts :lol

Tbh they look pretty great aesthetically. Its not like we would be running to the shops if West Brom or Norwich would be top of the league :lol

Or Spurs for that matter :lol

They're just contributing to that large transfer kitty that seems to be coming up for you guys :lol

I didn't mean it in a bad way, more like, I still can't get my head around what's going on this season and the amount of exposure we're getting is insane.

Y'all had jokes for days about the Spurs home kit and the sash when those first got unveiled [emoji]9749[/emoji]️[emoji]128056[/emoji]

I'm trying to remain optimistic howfly, winning these next two like you said would have us right back in the thick of things, but it's quite maddening how we've been so wasteful, we should be at least six points clear of everyone, given the entire league is boxing it out, still: norwich, west brom, pool, shampton, chelsea, and now manu were all games we definitely should of won, credit due to SOME of those clubs. Either way the players have really underperformed and Wenger needs to do some tinkering because we aren't scoring enough. Bench theo, try Alexis on the right if not bring Ramsey back up to the right and give elneny a shot in the mid to see if that partnership could work with le coq. I'm also really puzzled why Joel hasn't been put back in the squad, he works hard and can protect Hector unlike theo, I just don't get why he's reluctant to play him, i hope he didnt smoke in the showers.

The most wasteful thing we can do is lose out on the title, I still believe we can come out on top but that's on the boys. It's sad but I would also advocate for Wenger to leave if we were to lose the title out to totnam/lester/citeh given the opportunities we've have had to jump ahead. If it dosnt work out this year i just cant see how wenger looks at himself and the team and not realize he isnt getting through anymore to them and possibly isnt much else that he can do but i really hope it wont come down that way. There's only one arsene wenger, he's a smart man and hopefully he'll loosen up the faith on some players that dont deserve it, he wants the league as much as the fans do and hopefully both sides step up from here on out starting with the swans first. /rant

just got a chance to catch the men in blazers from this past weekend's matches and they showed the LVG fall like 30 times in a row. it's still funny every time :rollin :rollin

LVG is the right man for the job

Hold on there... despite Utd's past 3 wins and having scored 11 goals, I don't think fans are really petitioning him to stay.  The recent results and his technical-area antics haven't changed my mind, that's for sure!

Spurs have nice kits, not this year in particular, but I always liked the color scheme...

But their kit will NEVER look right with the BOLD [COLOR=#red]RED[/COLOR] AIA logo. Have no idea why they just don't make it dark blue and color match the kit. Some of these ad company's are just total douchebags. But the RED AIA is right up there with United and the Chevy logo.

I think Leicester have the best chance of taking the league. They dont have Europa league, FA cup to worry about, just the rest of these what 11 games? much less of a chance for things to go wrong. The spurs, i actually dig their kit this year, a simple design that compliments the colors, but as far as their title hopes, they will definitely be there fighting at the end but its also a, i have to see it to believe it situation for me as well.

Ox out 6-8 weeks, Wenger still making excuses for the downward spiral, Alexis is "fighting" to get back in form, HEGGSY bounced back after their loss to us but we cant win consistently.

We gotta win the rest of the games. We can't give up any more points.

"We want to use the criticism as motivation."

Arsene, C'mon b...... :|

Apparently, nobody talks to each other on the pitch. No communication. Which could explain the ****** ball movement against Man U

I still don't understand why he played Iwobi over Campbell
