I've been playing for about 6 years, but the way he stabs the ball when he hits it is weird. It's easier for me to hit it with the big toe region to make it curl. I've tried doing it the Ronaldo/David Luiz way and mine never really dip

I can strike the ball like Ronaldo (well as close as I can get) but I usually get better dip when the ball is moving as oppose to a dead ball. It's weird.
Wenger said he could potentially injure himself hitting it that way, back when CR was at United. Although I'm pretty sure it was just after the CL game where Ronaldo scored from about 40 yards from a free kick, so he was just salty I guess
